Bye Bye Trees at Pirates and Paradise Bay, Galaxy Burger Review, and More: Disneyland Photo Report 3/29/22

Hey there, hi there, ho there! We headed down to the Disneyland Resort to check out everything that’s new in the parks and we want you to come along for the ride. So join us as we take in the sights at both parks of the Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland

We started our day in Disneyland, where the vibrant pink trees are still in bloom.

In fact, flowers are everywhere for spring. No matter where you look, the plants have woken up from their wintery nap and are in full bloom.

Being that spring brings a bounty of seasonal treats, we stopped by the bakery cases on Main Street, U.S.A. to see what came hopping out.

Nearby, we found a whole collection for the nuiMOs to look their best for spring, as seen above. Or for those nuiMOs celebrating the last few days of Women’s History Month, there is a whole collection of female empowerment clothes, as seen below. See all the new outfits right here.

To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean, there is a collection of new merchandise including apparel, a water bottle, and more. Adding to that collection is this new glow in the dark t-shirt that we found today.

For those who align more with princesses, we found some new apparel that celebrates Rapunzel and Belle in a jean jacket and a hoodie, respectively. You can see both pieces, as well as some new lounge pants, right here.

We found a ton of new apparel featuring Play in the Park, Mickey, Tinker Bell and more. Scope out everything we found right here.

Making our way to New Orleans Square, we noticed that the trees in the courtyard of Pirates of the Caribbean have been removed during its refurbishment.

Refurbishment is also ongoing to get Fantasmic! back up and running by May 28, when it is set to return.

The Columbia, however, is out from its refurbishment and looking good. We saw her making her way down the river later in the day.

These cloudy skies make for a nice cool day, and some dramatic backdrops when looking up at some weathered walls in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Before we park hop, it’s time to stop in for lunch. We hit up Galactic Grill to try the new Galaxy Burger, a mobile order exclusive. Read our whole review right here.

Disney California Adventure

Grizzly River Run was refilled and testing, though not officially open yet. It’s nice to see the waterfalls again, as it brings some life and movement back to this quiet corner of the park.

We found a new ombre Spirit Jersey at Los Feliz Five & Dime, and you can read all about it right here.

The World of Color fountains were raised once again today as work continues for the show to return on April 22.

On a somber note, we arrived at Paradise Bay this afternoon to see that our favorite floating Christmas trees had been removed. They lasted from November to March, a noble run for a seasonal decoration. They will be missed.

Well, that’s it from us here at Disneyland. We’re glad you rode along. Be sure to leave a comment below, letting us know what you think of the photo report. We’ll see ya real soon!
