12 New Shows and Movies Are Coming to Hulu SOON

We’re sure you’ve been watching a lot of good stuff on Disney+ this month, especially now that we’re on the last season of the Star Wars series The Bad Batch.

Of course, we also have to mention that Wish, Disney’s most recent animated movie, is out now, too. We also bet that the new Bluey special STILL has you crying (because we were BAWLING). So, if you need more stuff to watch, you might want to check out the new shows and movies that are coming to Hulu (which is now part of Disney+ if you subscribe to both services).

The following new shows and movies are streaming on Hulu this week.

Under The Bridge

On April 17th, you can catch the two-episode season premiere of Under The Bridge, which is based on the Rebecca Godfrey book of the same name. Under The Bridge tells the story of a 14-year-old girl who went to a party with her friends, but never came home. This limited series will go “into the hidden world of the teenagers accused of the savage murder, revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.”

The series stars Lily Gladstone, Vritika Gupta, Chloe Guidry, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, and Ezra Faroque Khan with Archie Panjabi and Riley Keough.

High Hopes

The complete first season of High Hopes starts streaming on April 20th. It’s a workplace reality series following two brothers from Belarus as they try to take their cannabis business to “new heights.” This season builds to their biggest day of the year (April 20th) as they attend to expand their business nationwide.

Sins of the Parents: The Crumbley Trials

This Hulu original will premiere on April 18th. Sins of the Parents: The Crumbley Trials follows the events after a fatal shooting at a Michigan high school in 2021, after which James and Jennifer Crubley were arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter — the first parents to directly be charged for deaths caused by their child in a mass shooting.

This documentary will go behind the scenes of this historic case that could have huge implications for parents nationwide.

Hip Hop and the White House

This documentary film, which premieres on Hulu on April 22nd, unveils the journey of hip-hop from “outsider status to the pinnacle of power.” The doc looks at some of the most pivotal hip-hop music and artists who created “some of the most  powerful political songs of all time.”

The show will also highlight rappers’ experiences who have been able to interact with presidents and perform in the White House.

Secrets of the Octopus

On April 22nd, the full docuseries from National Geographic, Secrets of the Octopus will make its way to Hulu. This series takes you into an exploration of these “aliens on Earth.”

Dr. Oakley: Yukon Vet

Season 12 of Dr. Oakley: Yukon Vet will land on Hulu on April 17th. Learn more about this veterinarian, who helps the animal citizens of Canada’s Yukon territory.

Drain the Oceans

Season 7 of the National Geographic series Drain The Oceans arrives on Hulu on April 17th.

This series goes underwater to show the ocean’s hidden secrets by using “groundbreaking technology, breathtaking photography, and insight from top archaeologists.”

Popularity Papers

The complete first season of Popularity Papers, a BBC series, will premiere on Hulu on April 19th.

This show follows two best friends trying to figure out how to tackle the challenges of middle school.

The Marijuana Revolution

This special documents the shift of marijuana in the U.S. and takes a look at the growing cannabis industry.

This AMC special premieres on Hulu on April 20th.

The Channel

The Channel is a new movie about a criminal, his brother, and his motley crew dealing with what happens after a New Orleans bank heist goes wrong.

The Channel starts streaming on Hulu on April 19th.

Which Brings Me To You

The movie, Which Brings Me To You, explores the story of “two romantic burnouts” who meet at a wedding and almost hook up, but then they agree to share confessions about their past “on the off chance that this might be the real thing.”

See You In Another Life

The first season of the international series, See You In Another Life, is an adaptation of a book by Manuel Jabois, which is based on the 2014 interview of Gabriel Montoya Vidal about his link to the biggest jihadist attack in Europe on March 11th, 2004. At the time, Vidal was only 16 years old, but was part of the group that transferred the explosives in that attack.
