There’s one Disney World snack spot we get to visit almost every single month of the year…

…yep, we’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse! This spot in Disney Springs has different seasonal cookies each month, and any time there’s a new one, we make it a point to stop by and try it out. It’s an incredibly popular spot, and the line to get in can be a multi-hour wait on the busiest days. But is that line worth the trouble for the NEW February cookie? Let’s find out!
In February 2024, Gideon’s Bakehouse has multiple limited-time cookies!

The Eternal Flame is a spicy favorite that’s returning this year. We’ve had this one multiple times in the past and it’s made with dark chocolate, cherries, ancho, cayenne, and cinnamon. However, there’s also a brand-new treat this time around — The Strawberry Delight!

The Strawberry Delight cookie, like all the others at Gideon’s, is $6 and nearly half a pound in size. It’s a strawberry cookie filled with dark chocolate and covered in strawberry-infused sugar.

And BOY was it good! The strawberry flavor is strong and fruity, with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s incredibly soft on the inside and the chocolate adds a depth and richness that compliments the strawberry really well.
It’s time for a new treat at Gideon’s Bakehouse!

It’s rather reminiscent of a chocolate-covered strawberry, which is perfect for Valentine’s Day. If you’re not one for a spicy cookie but you want a seasonal treat, this should definitely be your go-to.
She’s a beaut.
Honestly, this might be one of my favorite Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies so far. It reminded me somewhat of the Coffee Cake and Banana Bread cookies with its texture and softness, so if you’re a fan of those, you might really enjoy this.

So is this cookie worth the wait?! That was the question that EIGHT different people stopped and asked me while I was taking pictures of it outside the store. People kept seeing the line and panicking — thinking it was a multi-hour wait.
During my visit, I only had to wait about half an hour, but when the line for Gideon’s Bakehouse gets really long, they’ll open up a virtual queue. When you enter the virtual queue, you’re free to roam around Disney Springs until you’re called back to the store. In the past, my wait at the store after being called back has only been about half an hour. Either way, I think this treat is 100% worth the wait!
