When you walk down Main Street, U.S.A. in Disney World, you’re transported to another place. A place where the buildings are perfect, the people are friendly, and the music never stops. There’s a reason that it’s one of the first things you encounter when you enter Magic Kingdom!

If there’s one thing we love about Disney, it’s that impressive efficiency and seamless transition from the real world to Disney World. So when we run into any minor problem, it catches us off guard! But hey — nobody’s perfect. Next time you visit the Confectionery on Main Street, U.S.A., you might want to watch out for this Mobile Order problem.
Fun fact: although the Main Street Confectionery isn’t your typical quick-service restaurant, this spot also offers Mobile Ordering!
Main Street Confectionery
Now, normally, we tell people that Mobile Order is a SUPER helpful way to save some time in line. It cuts the waiting out of the process since you can place your order ahead of time and schedule a pickup when you’re ready! But over at the Main Street Confectionery, we’ve noticed that the Mobile Order system isn’t quite so seamless.
We love the Main Street Confectionery!
Here’s the problem. We’ve placed Mobile Orders several times at this snack spot, and we’ve noticed a flaw with the system: we don’t see Cast Members at the counter very often! In our experience, even after arriving to claim our order at the counter, Cast Members are busy elsewhere, so we’re left watching and waiting for a nearby employee to help.

At most other Disney World quick-service spots, Disney has one or more dedicated Cast Members posted at the Mobile Order pickup location to help. But since the Confectionery is also a retail location, those Cast Members are spread pretty thin!
This shop is so much fun!
We usually don’t have much trouble tracking someone down to help, but if you’re in a rush and are hoping to grab your food and go, be prepared to wait. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
