REVIEW: We Were SHOCKED by How GREAT These New Treats Are in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney World’s first EVER Jollywood Nights is happening and we’re here to share all the details!

We’re partaking in all the festivities going on around Disney’s Hollywood Studios all night long and sharing the ins and outs of the party. The all-new entertainment, the characters, the rides, and of course the FOOD! Over on Grand Avenue, PizzeRizzo is open for the night of glitz and glam and we’re there now to try the new eats!

PizzeRizzo isn’t usually our go-to spot for food in Hollywood Studios (their puffy pizza just isn’t our favorite), but during Jollywood Nights, the restaurant only offers a party-exclusive menu. Are these new treats enough to redeem the restaurant?

The regular menu is not available during the event. The special menu has several items to pick from– Meatball and Polenta, Olive and Goat Cheese Flatbread, Antipasto Flatbread, Tiramisu Puff, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We chose to try the Olive and Goat Cheese Flatbread and the Tiramisu Puff!

Let’s start with the Olive and Goat Cheese Flatbread for $5.49. This is an olive oil-toasted flatbread, with creamy goat cheese, rustic olive and tomato spread, balsamic glaze, and lemon watercress!

This was SO much better than PizzeRizzo’s typical pizza. The goat cheese was creamy and bold, a little nutty, and the perfect complement to the tangy tomatoes and briney olives.

The crust was soft, but it still held up well with all the toppings.

We loved the balsamic glaze, too! It added a lot of fun flavor. For the price, this is a great snack option.

Next, we tried the Tiramisu Puff which is sweet-and-savory with flavors of espresso, chocolate, and a coffee-infused custard and mascarpone cream. You can pick up this dessert for $4.79.

This was another win! Wow — TWO wins for PizzeRizzo?!

The pastry was flaky and soft, and the custard and mascarpone cream were SO creamy and decadent yet still light enough that the treat tasted delicate.

The chocolate shavings on top added a fun texture and rich chocolate flavor, and they melt in your mouth. There was definitely a coffee flavor there, but it wasn’t front and center.

Note that there is a lot of amaretto flavor, so if that’s not your cup of tea then you’ll want to skip this one. However, we really enjoyed it and would definitely get it again.

We would definitely say don’t count out PizzeRizzo on Jollywood Nights! While you find your way over to watch the Muppets 3D, make sure you take a quick stop over for the exclusive event menu. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend the treats here!
