If You Can’t Handle the Heat, Do NOT Order This Drink in Disney World

We LOVE when Disney World releases delicious new eats and treats for us to try.

BaseLine Taphouse

We’ve been eating our way around the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival for a while now, and all kinds of Halloween goodies have been haunting us in the best way possible. But now, the Disney parks are celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with new snacks and drinks — and we’re taking you with us to try one out at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

We’re back at BaseLine Tap House checking out the NEW Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month offering here, but this is one of our favorite spots in Hollywood Studios to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. Plus, you can’t beat the people watching! To celebrate Hispanic and Latin American cultures, BaseLine is serving up a new Michelada which has Golden Road Golden State Cerveza, tomato-clam juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and chili-lime seasoning.

Let’s try it out!

Micheladas are popular Mexican drinks, and this is Disney’s take on that which you can get for $10. Oftentimes, you’ll find the “sauces” in the drink to be chili-based, AKA hot sauces, so let’s see what a Disney World Michelada tastes like!

This tasted like a spicy tomato beer to us. If you like Bloody Marys, then you’ll probably enjoy this. But, we weren’t huge fans.

It’s a pretty color, though!

We thought it might be a little refreshing at least, but unfortunately, all we got was that HEAT! It’s really spicy.

SO much spice

If you like spicy drinks, this might be your jam. But if you can’t handle the heat, do NOT go for this one!

Not our fave

We really only think Bloody Mary fans who like a lot of spice will enjoy this, otherwise, we wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a cocktail to cool you down.

Michelada

We thought Disney’s Michelada was way too spicy, and it wasn’t our favorite, but you might enjoy it if you like all of those flavors that we mentioned.

You can find it from now through October 18th at BaseLine Tap House in Hollywood Studios. There are plenty of other NEW eats around the parks for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month and we’ll be trying them ALL — so stay tuned!

Would you try this?

Plus, even MORE new treats are coming to the Disney parks soon, and you can see them all here. If you can’t get enough fall flavors at home, check out the Joffrey’s fall blends for the perfect cup of coffee!
