WARNING: You May Turn Into Stitch After Eating This Disney World Treat

So who’s celebrating 626 Day? In case you don’t know about 626 day, it’s the day we celebrate Experiment 626, aka Stitch — June 26th!

Happy 626 Day, Stitch!

Okay, we don’t really need a reason to celebrate Stitch because he’s lovable year-round! We’re celebrating by reflecting on the wild history of Stitch in Disney World, checking out a new Harveys Stitch collection, and eating some Stitch-inspired snacks (yes, that means MORE BLUE FOOD,  y’all). So we’re picking up a Stitch snack that got an upgrade from last year!

Last year, we had the Stitch Cone –it was made with  blue vanilla ice cream, white chocolate ears, and “galactic” popping candy, served with a waffle cone. At the time, the dessert was actually served in a cup with the cone on top.

Stitch Cone

This year’s treat, though, has gone through a bit of a makeover. It’s now called Experiment 626 and is made with cotton candy soft-serve topped with white chocolate Stitch ears. It’s also now served IN the cone this year.

It’s been updated!

Last year’s cone was pretty simple but tasty, so how did this new upgraded version compare? Well, we’re big fans of the update! The cotton candy soft-serve is delicious and refreshing. The cone was also crisp and fresh.

It looks like Stitch!

But like last year’s treat, the blue gets EVERYWHERE and will stain your hands and mouth. Also, this stuff melts FAST, so you have to eat it quickly. So use caution and grab napkins unless YOU want to turn into Stitch! The white chocolate ears are the same standard white chocolate pieces we’ve seen on other treats, so they aren’t anything unique. But they are tasty!

It’s already starting to melt…

However, if you want to try this treat out, it’s only available today at Pineapple Lanai for $5.79.

If you don’t get a chance to check out this treat, there are plenty of other blue 50th anniversary snacks available all over Disney World (SO much blue). We’ve tried just about every single one, so be sure to read through our reviews to see which ones you should try!

If it’s the cotton candy soft-serve you’re after, you can occasionally find it at Pineapple Lanai, as well as Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom from time to time. Or you could just grab a bag of cotton candy from any of the carts at the parks! Even better, try our Cotton Candy hack with the Blue Milk you can get at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
