It’s ROUND 2 of our Magic Kingdom ride throwdown, and YOU are the judge!

We’ve ranked the attractions at Magic Kingdom again…and again…but now is your chance to tell us which Magic Kingdom ride is the BEST! Those following us on Instagram (@disneyfoodblog) were able to participate in the second round of brackets, and we have the results! So without further delay…let’s get ready to RUUUUMBLE!

Let’s start with an absolute blowout! Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel vs. Big Thunder Mountain. It probably won’t surprise you to see who won this matchup. Of course, the carrousel is an iconic piece of Magic Kingdom…but it’s hard to beat the wildest ride in the wilderness! Accordingly, only 7% of votes went to the carrousel, while 93% went to Thunder Mountain. WOW!

Next up — Carousel of Progress vs. PeopleMover. While the Carousel of Progress was able to snag 28% of the votes, it was the PeopleMover who won with 72% of the votes! The PeopleMover has quite a dedicated, loyal fanbase, so this makes total sense to us.

Let’s look at the Haunted Mansion vs. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin matchup! Even amid the release of Lightyear, Buzz’s ride couldn’t get enough love, falling short at 22% of votes. Haunted Mansion, however, pulled in 78% of the votes. Haunted Mansion is such a classic Disney ride, so again, this makes sense.

The Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid vs. Dumbo the Flying Elephant matchup was an interesting one. They’re both unique rides in their own way — one takes you on a flight via an elephant, and one takes you under the sea on a seashell. But Under the Sea won 73% of the votes, while Dumbo only got 27%. Could it be the spinning that garnered so few votes for Dumbo?!

And we actually weren’t expecting these results for Pirates of the Caribbean vs. Space Mountain. While they were pretty close, Pirates of the Caribbean came out on top with 59% of the votes, while Space Mountain fell short with 41%. Seriously — we weren’t expecting to see Pirates of the Caribbean beat one of the Disney Mountains!

Let’s take a look at the battle of the shows — Enchanted Tiki Room vs. Mickey’s PhilharMagic! While both are iconic, classic Magic Kingdom attractions, the Tiki Room only got 41% of the vote, while Mickey’s PhilharMagic won 59%! Sorry, José!

And now, “it’s a small world” vs. Peter Pan’s Flight! Peter Pan’s Flight won with 61% of the votes, while “it’s a small world” only had 39%. We’re thinking repetitive music has something to do with this loss.

And now it’s the battle of transportation! The Monorail vs. Walt Disney World Railroad! The Monorail received 61% of the votes while the Railroad only got 39%. The monorail has a strong fanbase, so this one wasn’t surprising either. The Railroad has also been closed for years now!
