REVIEW: We Paid Nearly $20 for Star Wars Pasta in Disneyland — Was It WORTH IT?

Did you know that today is a special Star Wars holiday?

Millennium Falcon in Disneyland

That’s right! It’s May 4th (as in…May the Fourth Be With You…get it??), and that means some exclusive new eats and treats in Disney World and Disneyland! After you try out the special Star Wars Space Mountain overlay in Disneyland, it’s time to celebrate this special day with food!

We made our way to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park to celebrate Black Spire Day, which is the “local” annual celebration of Batuu.

During our trip, we stopped by Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo to try the NEW Ishi Tib-style Pasta with Braised Beef Bantha. This dish is made with beef pot roast, coconut curry sauce, pasta, and mixed vegetables for $18.99 (Magic Key discount applies). Almost $20?! That’s quite the hefty price for Bantha beef pasta. So…is it worth it?

Well, we will say that this dish was SO good! The pasta was a bit soft, but it mostly held together for a good bite. The meat was tender and had an amazing flavor! Seriously, that stuff was well seasoned!

OooOo

Some pieces look and in fact were drier than others, but they were still tender when we bit into them, which was good.

This Was SO Good

The sauce is fantastic too! It wasn’t really spicy, but was full of spices (in terms of flavorful spices). The coconut seems to dilute some of the heat while also adding a touch of sweetness and lightness. Delicious!

Yes Yes Yes!

While it is a pricier dish, the flavors were spot on, so it might be worth a try! You’ll just have to determine whether you’d rather spend nearly $20 on this one really good dish, or potentially get a few different snacks for the same price.

What do you think? Would you try this dish or save the $$ for another snack? Tell us in the comments!

Want a Bite?
