PHOTOS: If You Haven’t Seen Mickey in Disney World in This Special Outfit, JUST WAIT!

We caught a one-day-only cavalcade in Disney World today that’s marking a BIG milestone!

Special cavalcade!

This weekend (from March 3rd through March 6th) the Disney Dreamers Academy is taking place at Disney World. It’s a program that focuses on supporting students from around the country, particularly Black students and teens from underrepresented communities, by creating opportunities for them and helping them develop their future careers. This year, the academy is celebrating a big milestone, and we saw the festivities happening today in Magic Kingdom!

The Disney Dreamers Academy is celebrating its 15 year anniversary! So, in honor of the celebration, a special cavalcade took place in Magic Kingdom today.

15 years!

100 students from around the country are taking part in the program, and they got to walk in the cavalcade!

All of the Disney Dreamers!

There were students from all over the United States, and they had signs with them to represent where they’re from.

So cool!

There were also some characters that joined in on the cavalcade! We saw Pluto and Goofy

…and Mickey! But, Mickey wasn’t in his usual outfit — he’s wearing a rare look.

Hi, Mickey!

The Big Cheese was leading the Jones High School drumline in his drum major attire!

Leading the way!

There was also a celebrity appearance! Kelly Rowland is the 2022 Ambassador for the Disney Dreamers Academy, and she was spotted in the cavalcade as well.

Afterwards, we were able to see Kelly giving some interviews.

This year’s ambassador!

And then, we got to hear these awesome words of wisdom from the star!

What an awesome way to kick off this year’s Academy summit! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates.
