PHOTOS! The Beaches & Cream To-Go Window Is BACK at Disney World!

We are HUGE fans of Beaches & Cream over at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

It’s back!

And although we’ve enjoyed meals there, it’s really ALL about the great ice cream treats you can get. But as it’s often difficult to get a reservation at Beaches & Cream, we liked the convenience of the To-Go window. But that window has been closed since last year. And Disney even went to great lengths to keep guests from even noticing it was there!

Well, we’ve got great news — the Beaches & Cream To Go Window has officially reopened, and not a moment too soon! So it’s time to get in line for some ice cream!

Let’s get in line!

The menu here hasn’t changed since the window was last open — you can Double Hand-Scooped Ice Cream served in either a cone or cup in a variety of flavors, including Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies ‘n Cream, and more! You can also get a variety of shakes (including one in a souvenir glass), along with the Mini Mickey Sink Sundae.

Also, note the hours — it’s scheduled to be open from 11AM to 11PM every day.

Menu and hours

Boozy ice cream concoctions are also available, along with a variety of wines, beers, hard cider, and hard soda.

Boozy options

We noticed that most treats were being served in a black bowl or the standard Disney Mary Blair-inspired cups, so we decided on a Mickey Confetti Shake in a Souvenir Cup for $15. The Vanilla Shake is served with Whipped Cream and Rainbow Sprinkles topped with a Rainbow Confetti Cupcake. It’s so much fun!

We love this shake!

And there’s even a little White Chocolate Mickey on top of it all!

Mickey!

The rim of the cup is dipped in icing (YUM), which is what holds the confetti in place. This is a delicious treat that’s been consistent and we know it’s one that will be a kid-pleaser, too! The cupcake is fresh and the milkshake is tasty, and really, what more could you want?

This colorful treat is always a hit!

A Cast Member told us that today was just a soft opening, but that the To-Go Window’s official reopening is tomorrow. So if you’ve got a craving for some yummy ice cream treats, be sure to head on over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort!

We are so happy to have another place to get our Beaches and Cream ice cream and over-the-top milkshake fix when the mood strikes us. And stay tuned because we’re covering ALL reopenings at Disney World!

However, you might need some luck to get your hands on this special cone. We ordered this through the Disneyland app for Mobile Order twice and only got the hidden waffle cup once (the other time, we just got the regular waffle cup). But what a nice surprise!

Dear Disney, We Think These Mickey Balloons Are Confused…

Disney loves to do seasonal overlays and merch! From celebrations like Boo Bash to events like the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, Disney rings in the seasons with all sorts of special touches to the parks.

Beauty and the Beast Topiary at the Flower and Garden Festival

However, there was an…unusual seasonal item at Disneyland today that doesn’t quite belong in summer.

We spotted an Easter balloon at Disneyland…which would be perfect if it was still spring! We talked to a Cast Member who said they had plenty of leftover Easter Mickey balloons, so they are currently available for guests to grab!

Easter in July anyone?

Although this is an odd mix-up, at least the balloons are super cute! The balloons feature Chip, Dale, Donald, Mickey, and Minnie in bunny ears! Earlier this year, Disney rang in Easter with the appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Disney World. If you missed out on that, you can celebrate late with these balloons in Disneyland!

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Disney World!

Speaking of holidays, Disney World’s Boo Bash and Disney California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash are just around the corner! Unlike the Easter balloons, these Halloween celebrations are going to be happening at the right time of the year.

The Cost of These Disney World Items Will Blow Your Mind! 🤯

Disney World has some amazing trivia, and what’s more fun than learning more about Disney?

Journey of the Little Mermaid

We learned the unbelievable costs of two items in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and if you like trivia, here’s more to add to your Disney World knowledge. Next time you go to Disney World, you can even take a picture with them!

Recently, on a trip to Magic Kingdom, after we stopped by the reopened Prince Eric’s Market Village, a Disney Vacation Club Cast Member gave us some new Disney trivia! We talked to her at the H. Goff Cartography spot in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.

H. Goff Cartography DVC Booth

By the Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid ride, you can find this King Triton statue. According to the Cast Member, he has to be repainted every quarter, and do you know how much it costs each time? $15,000! Every quarter! King Triton has an expensive glow-up.

King Triton Statue

We also stopped to play some under the sea Tic Tac Toe while sipping a Mermaid Slushy, and the Cast Member asked us if we knew how much this cost for Disney to make. Any guesses?

Under the Sea Tic Tac Toe

This cost Disney a whopping $53,000 to make! What?! How?? Did Ursula take our voice or are we just speechless?

Close-up of Tic Tac Toe

So if you want to play a game of Tic Tac Toe with a very expensive board AND impress your friends with your Disney World knowledge, head to the DVC booth in Magic Kingdom by Prince Eric’s Market Village. Stay tuned to DFB for all your Disney trivia!

VIDEO: This May Be the Funniest Celebrity Sighting in a Disney Park!

The Jungle Cruise has been getting a lot of attention lately! From a revamp of the ride in both Disneyland and Disney World to a new movie based on the ride, this classic Disney attraction is getting lots of love.

The Jungle Cruise

As part of the celebration of Jungle Cruise and the new movie based on the ride, Disney gave guests a special surprise!

Recently, a few lucky guests who rode the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland were treated to some special “Secret Skippers,” Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt! In promotion of their new movie Jungle Cruise, the stars hosted their very own Jungle Cruise ride with a twist!

©Walt Disney Studios

What’s the twist? Well, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt’s Jungle Cruise costar Jack Whitehall was behind the scenes feeding them ridiculous things to say! From Emily Blunt calling Devil Wears Prada a wonder of the world to Dwayne Johnson asking for a protein bar to prevent his muscles from deflating, there’s lots to laugh about during this trip on the Jungle Cruise!

Jack Whitehall pulling all the strings behind the scenes! ©Walt Disney Studios

Recently, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt made an appearance at Downtown Disney to promote Johnson’s Mana Mobile food truck! The food truck includes some items with Johnson’s new tequila company, Terremana.

Disney’s new film Jungle Cruise is out now at theaters and on the Disney+ Premier Access service! A few days before its release, the film got a red carpet premiere at the place where it all started, Disneyland!

PHOTOS: Tarps Cover the Boardwalk as Refurbishment Begins in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom

frontierland-boardwalk-refurb-7-31-21-15-4810370

Walls went up recently around sections of Frontierland, signaling an upcoming refurbishment. We stopped by this morning to check in on progress and found that most of the boardwalk has been covered in tarps. Let’s take a look! Since our last update, more brown tarp has been added to the worksite. It now covers most of the ground within the walls at Prairie Outpost and Supply, including the wooden boardwalk directly in front of the façades. The project is likely […]
