Kia ora! We’re back at the Universal Orlando Resort today to check in on the reopening of Volcano Bay. The water park has been closed since November, but is now open and ready to welcome back guests. We grabbed out 3-Park Annual Pass and decided to head out and check out all the happenings on the first day of reopening. We arrived bright and early and jumped in line for the shuttle over to the park. It looked like we […]

What Happens When You Cross A Mermaid, an Alien, and More On Disney Hats?

It might feel like spring is coming all over the U.S., but it’s starting to feel like summer at Disney World!

It’s a bright sunshiney day

We’ve had a lot of bright sunshine and we’ve been looking for creative ways to shield our eyes from the sun. So we’re checking out some cool Disney sunglasses, along with some umbrellas (they are for WAY more than just rain), and hats!

We just spotted some new baseball caps at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that would be perfect for protecting our eyes and faces on those super sunny days! So let’s represent our favorite underwater princess with an Ariel Baseball Cap! It’s pink with a pretty teal silhouette of Ariel on the front.

We want to be part of your world

Or maybe we’re feeling more like representing our all-time favorite alien (even if we can’t forgive him taking over the Alien Encounter attraction at Magic Kingdom — we know, we know, it’s gone, get over it). But Stitch still looks pretty “weird, but cute” on this baseball cap. We found these two caps at Sunset Couture for $27.99 each.

Weird, but cute. Same, Stitch, same.

If we’re trying to do our best Pascal and blend in, though, we need this Mickey Camouflage Baseball Cap. The patch on the front says “Authentic Mickey Original.” You got that, right!

Camo cap!

The message on this next cap, though, says it all — “Be amazing.” And we think that’s amazing! It’s a Denim Spider-Man Cap. Both of these caps are also $27.99, but these can be found at Celebrity 5 & 10.

This cap is amazing

So you can dive into summer in Disney style with brand new baseball caps representing some of your favorite Disney and Marvel characters. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more!

Gaston’s Tavern

The Beauty and the Beast section of Fantasyland has been going through some minor changes recently. After Bonjour Village Gifts got an external makeover, the Gaston’s Tavern sign got a bit of a paint job too!

The lettering was repainted to a beautiful gold. We like the new look!

Cinderella Castle Stage and Moat

For a couple weeks now, the Cinderella Castle stage and moat have been under construction. The surface layer has previously been removed, and now it appears the stage has been completely covered again.

REVIEW: Cinnatopia Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream From Salt & Straw Becomes a Favorite in the Downtown Disney District

Cinnatopia Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream salt and straw

As a part of their Vault Series, Salt and Straw at Downtown Disney District has brought back five flavors of ice cream. The establishment always has fun new flavors to try. We’ve tried a few of the Vault Series ice creams and were fans of both the Strawberry Tres Leches and the Salted Caramel Cupcake flavors, but we didn’t like the Brown Ale & Bacon flavor very much. However, we’re back for more and, hopefully, this one will be another […]

Solve a Mystery With a NEW Photo-Op in Disney Springs!

Disney Springs is FULL of experiences right now with interactive M&M making, stacks of cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse, and the “Celebrate Soulfully” event.

M&M Store

And, there’s even a brand new (and VERY spooky) photo-op that’s appeared in the shopping and dining district for guests looking to solve a mystery!

Now that Disney’s Secrets of Sulphur Springs has debuted, guests can pose in front of the mystifying photo-op wall that can be found in Disney Springs! Stars of the series Kyleigh Curran and Preston Oliver gave a sneak peek by stopping by the display in front of Disney’s Days of Christmas store.

©Disney

And, guess what? You can join them since there’s a spot for fans to hold a flashlight as part of the interactive installment! If you want to know more details about the show, you can scan the QR code on the side of the photo-op to learn about Secrets of Sulphur Springs.

©Disney

The show is a time-travel mystery (um, AWESOME) that follows characters Griffin Campbell (Oliver) and Harper (Curran) whenever they find a secret portal that gives them a chance to travel through time, solve Sulphur Springs’ town mystery, and encounter some sinister things along the way. It sounds like a great series to watch with your whole family before posing in Disney Springs! And, we’ll be sure to give you a look at the other Disney entertainment you can find in the parks too!

25 Photos and Videos From Our Day At Disney World!

Guess where we’re at — go ahead, we bet you’ll never guess!

We will never get tired of this view

Okay, so it’s a pretty easy guess, and yes, we’re at Disney World! Again! We had reporters in three parks today, and they had an amazing time riding rides, eating (because, well, that’s what we do), and wandering around EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios living THE life!

And we’re inviting you to join along with us through photos and videos we took at the parks — so put on your favorite ears, whip up your favorite Disney snack, and let’s go have some fun!

Hollywood Studios

It’s time to step into the golden age of Hollywood as we step through the entrance of Hollywood Studios. We feel SO glamorous!

Come with us while we take a look down Hollywood Boulevard!

So where do you want to go first? We’ll wait while you decide — we can just stare at all these cool old Hollywood details.

Where the Stars SHINE!

Let’s go to Toy Story Land! This land is just SO much fun, right?

All the vibrant detailing here often gets overlooked, but we LOVE IT!

Howdy, partner!

We walked right through Toy Story Land to get to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. What can we say? We are Star Wars fans, and Batuu continues to blow our minds.

We took a moment to try and have a conversation with a droid. But all he said was “Bleep” and “Boop.” We need a droid translator!

What is this droid saying?

All this walking has got us feeling hungry. Guess where we’re having lunch?

This is NOT a WandaVision-themed restaurant — or is it?

That’s right! We stopped by 50’s Prime Time Cafe to get heckled and have some of that awesome pot roast.

We always leave this restaurant STUFFED and ready for a nap, but then our pal Mickey showed up with some friends and that got our energy back up!

There he is! The star of Disney World!

Mickey!!!

Is it even a trip to Disney World if you don’t see Mickey? We don’t think so!

Eat and Relax at a CLOSED Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

EPCOT

We had another reporter headed to EPCOT.

Surprise! Another BIG piece of the upcoming Harmonious show was installed overnight. This big ring is going to project water and light! We can’t wait to see it in the show!

And look! The Three Cabelleros Topiary has appeared, too! We’re getting SO ready for the beginning of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival next week! Also, these look WAY better than the plant Donald from their ride… .

We thought we wanted a margarita from the Mexico Pavilion, but then we saw the line — okay, maybe not.

Instead, we just decided to head over to America Adventure for lunch at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, and CAN YOU SAY YUM?

The UK Pavilion is in full bloom. Spring is here!

Spring looks good in the UK

Insert happy sighs here — EPCOT is an explosion of color right now!

PHOTOS! The Latest Addition to EPCOT’s New Fireworks Show is MASSIVE!

Magic Kingdom

We hopped over to Magic Kingdom to see what was up. And hey, it’s the Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade. One word, y’all – POOH!

Speaking of Fantasyland, here’s your ear worm for the day…you’re welcome. 😉

Sing with us! it’s a small world after all…

Of course, we had to go visit the Tangled bathrooms because if you’ve gotta’ go at Magic Kingdom, you should go IN STYLE. And well, the view outside isn’t bad either.

Let down your hair, Rapunzel!

We LOVE watching Cast Members create water art — like how do they do that? Hey, look, it’s Scrooge McDuck!

Water art!

We also found some AWESOME water art of a certain chipmunk duo… .

We have to be sure to say hello to the princesses! Hey, look, Aurora is actually awake!

The Nap Queen

Rapunzel was looking adorable, as always — we missed Tiana, though, because she was on the other side. We’ll catch her next time!

Punzie

Needless to say, seeing the princesses pretty much made our day perfect, as in BEST DAY EVER. At least until tomorrow, when we get to come back and do it all over again! Thank you for joining us today!

Disney World Park Passes for March are Filling Up AGAIN!

If you have a Disney World trip planned, it’s important to remember to make those Park Pass Reservations!

Cinderella Castle

This system was implemented when the parks reopened in July, and requires guests to reserve a spot for the park they want to visit that day. If you’re traveling to Disney World in March, you’ll want to make reservations ASAP because these park passes can fill up pretty quickly! Just a couple of days ago, March passes had been refilled, but now passes are gone in certain parks.

Disney Theme Park Tickets Guests

Not too long ago, the entire March calendar was green which means that all parks have availability. However, many days are now yellow indicating that at least one park is full.

©Disney

On March 8th-14th, 20th-25th, and 31st, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the only park that is full. On March 19th, 29th, and 30th, both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are currently full. During spring break week, March 15th-18th, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom are full.

Disney Resort Guests

Tickets for Disney Resort Guests look exactly the same as Disney Theme Park Tickets Guests!

©Disney

The only difference in which parks are and aren’t available is that on March 18th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom IS available to make reservations.

Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders have much more availability than the other two ticket types!

©Disney

On March 6th and 13th, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is currently full for passholders. For March 15th and 16th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not available at the moment.

Disney World Park Hours Released Through Mid-May

Disney World Park Pass Reservations are constantly changing. Based on how quickly these reservations filled up, it looks like Spring Break time will be pretty busy. If you have a trip planned in March, be sure to make those reservations as soon as possible! We’ll let you know if or when Disney adds more availability for March!
