Shrek 4-D Signage Removed, ‘Harry Potter’ House Tote Bags, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges Closed For Refurbishment, and More: Universal Orlando Resort Photo Report 2/28/22

Good morning and welcome to another beautiful day at the Universal Orlando Resort! We spotted quite a few updates around the parks, so let’s jump right into our day.

Check out these ‘Harry Potter’ house inspired tote bags we found at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.

The tote bags match the house tees that we spotted a couple weeks ago. Now you can get the matching set and show your house pride!

Heading into Universal Studios Florida, we were met with a shocking sight.

All of the Shrek 4-D signage has been removed from the recently closed attraction.

We miss seeing Shrek and his friends up on the walls when entering the park, but we’re very excited to see what’s next.

Souvenir glasses have returned to Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley. Definitely snag one of these if you’re trying to get that picture perfect shot!

We love catching the moment guests see the dragon blow fire for the first time.

Hogwarts express is only a 15 minute wait. Let’s hop on and head over to Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

The construction walls surrounding the Hogwarts Express display train have been removed. We’re so happy to see it back out on display again.

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges has closed for a short standard refurbishment. Construction walls can be found blocking off the entrance to the attraction.

Don’t worry though, Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls has reopened from refurbishment if you are looking for a water ride. Warning, you will get soaked!
