What a week, right?
It’s been a super exciting one for us at DFB — we FINALLY got to see Casey’s Corner reopening, and we started seeing reopening dates for other restaurants at Disney World. And reopenings also mean we get a peek at new menus, so we’ve got a few of those in our updates, along with some brand new snacks!
Magic Kingdom
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor will reopen on July 7th! And we’ve already got a peek at the menu! As always, there will be a variety of sundaes and floats, including the Plaza Ice Cream Sundae for $16.99. However, the Apple Blossom Sundae has been removed, but the Brownie Sundae is still available for $7.49. And of course, you can still get classic Ice Cream Cones with a double-scoop of ice cream for $5.99.
Ice cream flavors will include Chocolate, Vanilla, Mint Chocolate-Chip, Strawberry, and Cookies ‘n Cream. You can also get Fat-free and No Sugar Added flavors as well as Plant-based Frozen Desserts.
There are also a variety of toppings available for an additional fee, including Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter, and Caramel, each for $0.69. Bottled water will also be available for purchase.
We’ll be there on July 7th eating ALL the ice cream, so check back then for reopening photos and videos!

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Well, something has been removed from the menu at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, but we’re not mad about it. You can no longer get Corn Dog Nuggets here!
But that’s because you can get them once more at Casey’s Corner! — YAY!

BaseLine Tap House
The Blue Sky Black Cherry Soda on Tap is no longer available at BaseLine Tap House.
Instead, you can get the NEW Barrilitos Strawberry Hibiscus Soda on Tap for $4.29. Sounds delicious!

Creature Comforts
We found a RAWRING good cupcake at Creature Comforts — this limited-time offering is the Tiger Cupcake. It’s Cinnamon Cake, Apple Pie Filling, Vanilla Frosting, an Edible Image, and a Chocolate Tail for $5.99.
We found that it was full of the flavors of fall — and we were not complaining!

Trail’s End Restaurant
Trail’s End Restaurant is reopening! And we’ve got a first look at the new family-style menu. Breakfast is $19.99 per adult and $11.99 per child, plus tax and gratuity. That includes the following for the table: an Oven-fresh Pastry Basket, Berry-Granola-Yogurt Parfait, as well as a Breakfast Skillet (Smoked Brisket and Eggs, Mickey Waffles, Bacon and Sausage, and Cheesy Potato Casserole served with Table Syrup). Plant-based versions are also available.
Dinner is $29.99 per adult and $17.99 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Dinner includes Oven-fresh Bread Basket, a Chopped Salad, a Smokehouse Skillet, and a Covered Wagon Sundae. The Smokehouse Skillet is a Pecan-smoked Brisket with Rotisserie Chicken Andouille, Fingerling Potatoes, Green Beans, Buttered Corn on the Cob with Chipotle Barbecue and Carolina Mustard Barbecue Sauce. However, the fried chicken seems to have vanished from the menu!
If you want the signature Half-slab Memphis-rubbed Pork Spare Ribs, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp Boil, or Cornbread-crusted Salmon, those are available as add-ons for an additional $9.99, $8.99, or $7.99, respectively. There are also a variety of Mocktails to choose from for drinks!
Dessert includes something called a Covered Wagon Sundae, described as “a Wagon Load of Ice Cream, Toppings, Brownies, Cookies, and Chocolate-covered Bacon!” This could be something very similar to the Whispering Canyon’s 10-Gallon Challenge.
For drinks, there are also a good selection of wines…
…Cider and Beer…
…Cocktails…
…and MORE cocktails!
Plus, you can choose from a selection of Bourbon, too!
Trail’s End officially reopens on July 17th!

Citrico’s
Citrico’s is reopening, too! And it’s getting a NEW Mary Poppins Returns look — with a BRAND NEW menu! And we’ve got a first look! Appetizers include a Strawberry Salad, Sweet Corn Bisque, Smoked Duck Breast, Wild Mushrooms Arancini, and more.
Entrees include Butter-poached Florida Cobia with Mashed Fingerling Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, L and Local Mushrooms with a Grapefruit Beurre Blanc, as well as Guava Barbequed Short Ribs with Aged Cheddar Creamy Grits, Roasted Poblano, Curtido Slaw, and Brussel Sprouts.
Enhancements are also available, including Truffle Macaroni and Cheese, Smoked Cauliflower, and Grilled Marble Potatoes.
But what about dessert? Those include Warm Apple Rose with Seasonal Apple, Marzipan Layers, and Frozen Coconut Milk, and the Chocolate Torte, which features a Dark Chocolate Financier, Dark Cherry Compote, and Vanilla Bean Mascarpone Cream.
Kids’ Appetizers include Cheese and Grapes, a Garden Salad, and Chicken Noodle Soup.
For Kids’ Entrees, there are a variety of selections including Steak, Shrimp, Grilled Cheese, and more.
And Kids get a good selection of Desserts, too.
And for drinks, guests can expect an award-winning wine list. We’re excited to check it all out when Citrico’s reopens on July 15th.

Crew’s Cup Lounge
Although we don’t have an official reopening date for Crew’s Cup Lounge, we still saw some menu updates recently. That could suggest it will reopen soon. Here’s what’s changed:
- Walk The Plank is now made with Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye Whisky instead of Bulleit 95 Rye Whiskey
- Smoked Turkey is now made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade instead of Odwallah Lemonade
- Captain’s Mai Tai is now made with Plantation Original Dark Rum instead of Myers’s Original Dark Rum
- REMOVED: Cold Brew XO
We’ll be sure to let you know when we have a reopening date!
