REVIEW: Does This Over The Top Peppermint Cupcake at Disney World Live Up To Its Looks?

We’ve been very busy eating all the holiday snacks and drinking all the holiday drinks all over Disney World!

But some of our favorite treats have involved peppermint, because peppermint is the flavor of the holidays! So we’ve been eating peppermint churros and chocolate peppermint bark, while drinking peppermint chocolate beer and a peppermint kiss drink.

And we just found a new (and VERY PRETTY) peppermint treat at Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. It’s the Peppermint Cupcake, which is a chocolate cupcake filled with peppermint mousse, topped with peppermint-scented whipped cream, and peppermint bark. It’s decorated with a light chocolate drizzle, edible glitter, and chocolate crunch pearls. Also, IT’S HUGE.

It’s so pretty and the colors give us a retro 50s vibe, for some reason. But how does it taste?

We’re so glad you asked — it is SO yummy! The peppermint flavoring of the mousse with the chocolate cake is perfection. This is a very RICH cupcake, though, so you might want to share (or not — we won’t judge!). We also think this is a cupcake kids would love.
