These Are Always the LONGEST Lines at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World

We’re all eagerly anticipating news of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates for this fall and when tickets will go on sale, but that doesn’t keep us from already strategizing our time throughout the party night.

Happy Halloween!

Knowing how to make the most of your time and everything that’s available to see, do, and snack out throughout Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party nights is crucial right down to how some of Disney’s most popular rides will work during the party. So if you’re looking to be a savvy partygoer, we’ve compiled a list of the longest lines you’ll see during the party (and a few tips to help you beat them, too)!

There’s so much going on during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that it might seem hard to fit it all in! If you’re looking to make the most of your night doing all the party-exclusive things like picking up candy from the trick-or-treat stops, taking in the sights and sounds of the shows, and picking just the right spot to view the fireworks, you’ll really need to strategize where to spend the bulk of your time.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks

It might come as a surprise to learn that most of the wait times for things like rides, attractions, and even trick or treating will drop through the night and stay pretty low given the reduced crowds (since this is a special ticketed event and all).

Trick or Treat!

Yep, your highest crowds throughout the night we’ve seen year over year are for meet and greets with RARE Disney characters you’ll only be able to see at these parties. Alright, now that you’re on board to see a few frightful friends, here’s who we’re ranking as the longest lines during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Jack and Sally

It should come as a surprise to know that the pumpkin king and queen head up our list for the longest wait time to meet during this party. Seriously, it’s a very rare occurrence to find these two out at Disney World (especially in their natural Halloween element) and you’ll even get to carry a conversation with them both during your meeting.

Jack & Sally

We’ve seen these wait times soar to multiple hours during the night just for the opportunity to meet them, which could eat into a lot or most of your time during the night to party. Our best tip to try to meet these two is to enter Magic Kingdom as early as the party ticket will allow you to and wait to be one of the first to meet them for the night OR hop in their line during busier times of the night like one of the parade showtimes, during the fireworks performance, or toward the end of the night (but don’t wait too late because the line could get cut off)!

The Seven Dwarfs

This is a BANGER of a meet and greet and one that is guaranteed to see a consistently long line each and every party night. Yes, you really can live out your best Snow White dreams and surround yourself with each of the Seven Dwarfs for a quick photo (don’t worry, Grumpy really does love posing for these photos despite the scowl on his face).

Seven Dwarfs

If you’re not prioritizing Jack and Sally, head for these guys first or during one of those busy times we just mentioned above. We love meeting with the Seven Dwarfs and were so glad to see them return to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party last year after being absent for a while.

Winnie the Pooh and Friends

We’re three for three here on the multiple characters at once jackpot, and the next longest line to top our list could check 4 characters off of your list at the same time. Meeting with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore (who are so adorable in their Halloween costumes) could just be the highlight of your night.

Winnie the Pooh

The same tips to meet these 4 will apply here too, but either way, be prepared to wait a while on them any time you hop in line because they do a great job of taking their time to take several photos with you and they love showing off those costumes!

Stitch

VIVA Las Vegas (and Elvis Stitch)! This is another opportunity to see a popular character in a rare outfit!

Elvis Stitch Meet-and-Greet

If you’re looking to find a blinged-out version of Stitch dressed as “The King” you’ll typically find him meeting in Tomorrowland. This is another line that will fill up quickly at certain points throughout the night, but most folks like to meet him during the daytime as his bejeweled cape shines in the sun. If you can hold back your Stitch obsession for just long enough to let the sun go down, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised with a significantly shorter line to meet him toward the later hours of the party.

Jafar

An evil sorcerer can be found meeting in Adventureland, and it’s not one we’re used to seeing around Disney World really ever! Jafar is yet another exclusive party character we’ve met in past years during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties as he searches for his next diamond in the rough.

Jafar

He’s a really fun character to meet and greet ( you know, the strong silent type), and will pause for a few photos with you if he’s deemed you worthy. But we don’t recommend taking him up on any cave adventures during your conversation.

Belle and Gaston

Over in Fantasyland near Be Our Guest and Enchanted Tales with Belle we’ve been able to meet Belle and Gaston around these parts. They’re a fun pair to meet considering they’re polar opposites, which gives Gaston plenty to gab about (other than himself).

Leave the flirting to the professionals

While you’ll typically find several princesses and princes to meet here Gaston is a popular character who knows how to attract a crowd with his charisma so we suggest you prepare a bit more time to wait in line to meet him.

These are just a few of the characters you’ll be able to meet and greet with throughout the night but you’ll want to continue to be aware of the time because the characters do typically stop meeting about an hour before the party officially ends.
