The returning Pixar Ball Sipper has made its way back to Disneyland Resort of Pixar Fest.
Pixar Ball Sipper – $16.99
The Pixar Ball Sipper can be found in numerous locations at Disneyland Resort during Pixar Fest from April 26 to August 4. It comes with a choice of fountain beverage and is limited to 10 items per transaction. The full list of locations is as follows:
- Disneyland Park: Alien Pizza Planet, Churros near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Churros near Casey Jr. Circus Train, Churros at small world Promenade, Harbour Galley, Plaza Inn
- Disney California Adventure: Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Fairfax Market, Lamplight Lounge, Mortimers Market
The sipper itself is designed in the likeness of the Pixar Ball, also known as the Luxo Ball. Despite debuting in 1986 in the Pixar short “Luxo Jr.,” the ball became an icon of the Pixar brand after the short was rereleased and played before theatrical showings of “Toy Story 2” in 1999. It has since appeared in nearly all of the Pixar films.
Here’s a shot of the sipper outside of the case from when we purchased it back in 2022. The cap twists off, and the bottom is flattened to prevent it from rolling away.
The sipper joins a bunch of other Pixar Fest merchandise, including the Pixar Ball and Lamp Straw Clip, Slinky Dog Sipper, Pixar Fest Tumbler, and “Monsters Inc.” Tumbler.
