REVIEW: Cluck-a-Doodle Moo at the 2024 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Say it with me, friends…“CLUCK-A-DOODLE-MOO!!”

2024 Booth

Why? Well, first of all, it’s just fun to say, don’t you think? Oh, and it’s also the name of one of the 11 Festival Marketplace Booths for the 2024 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! We’re checking out all of the eats and sips at Disneyland Resort’s California-inspired foodie fest, and now we’re bringing you a Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo Booth REVIEW!

Menu

A new item and a returning favorite make up the food items at Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo this year. Keeping with the tradition of serving up Wings and Sliders, the new Cheese Pizza-flavored Wings join the returning BBQ Beef Brisket Slider.

We’ve also got a non-alcoholic drink with the Kiwi-Apple Lemonade and a Tangerine Tiki Cocktail for the grown-ups.

Eats

The new Cheese Pizza-flavored Wings are up for grabs to the tune of $8.50.

Cheese Pizza-flavored Wings with ranch dip

The batch is served with a side of ranch for dipping. (Have you ever had pizza with ranch dip? Seriously, don’t knock it ’til you try it!) Listen, while we normally enjoy a little pizza and ranch combination, this was a miss for us! This one seems to be popular among others, but to us, all we could taste was some basic cheese powder with spices. Note that the spices create more of a dry rub here, so ranch is a must.

The BBQ Beef Brisket Slider is BACK! It’s $9.

BBQ Beef Brisket Slider with smoked white cheddar and dill pickles on salt and pepper brioche

This savory snack is topped with smoked white cheddar and dill pickles and served on salt and pepper brioche. This one transported us to a backyard BBQ pulled pork sandwich! The pork was great (nice and moist), and the BBQ flavor was on point! It’s a little pricey for what you get, but overall, we really liked this one.

And now, let’s get to sippin’…

Drinks

Both beverages at Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo are new this year. Let’s start with the non-alcoholic Kiwi-Apple Lemonade, which is $7.

Non-alcoholic Kiwi-Apple Lemonade

Minute Maid Lemonade and apple juice together with kiwi and Granny Smith apple syrups make up this sweet sip. It’s all garnished with a lovely purple orchid! Um, YUM! This was absolutely delicious! It looks as good as it tastes — our drink was super refreshing, and the flavors work so well together.

Kiwi-Apple Lemonade

Those in the mood for something a little stronger might opt for the Tangerine Tiki Cocktail. This one’s $17.

Tangerine Tiki Cocktail

Dark rum, vanilla-citrus liqueur, tangerine and lime juices, and honey syrup are all garnished with a dried red pineapple wheel. Interestingly, we found that this has some strange flavors that just didn’t work well together! The vanilla liqueur is good (duh — it’s vanilla alcohol!); however, the tangerine and honey did not mix well. Don’t be fooled — this one smells better than it tastes.

OVERALL

We had a fun time at this booth! Not everything deserves a gold star, per say, but there are some fun drinks and savory eats worth checking out. Make sure to time your visit to avoid the LONG lines that may form at this booth!

Full Spread 2024

That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from…
