REVIEW: This Is the ONLY Way We’re Eating a BUG in Disney World

Bet you didn’t realize that February is the PRIME TIME for new Disney World snacks?!

Magic Kingdom

Between Valentine’s Day and Black History Month, Disney is really rolling out the red carpet for the new treats, and we’ve been running all around property to try them out. There are quite a few things on our buy list, but you’ll need to head to a Disney hotel for the most adorable of the bunch!

Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is now home to the Love Bug Marshmallow for $6.59. Isn’t she precious?!

Isn’t it cute?!

It’s made with strawberry marshmallow, a ganache center, and a graham cracker cookie. The decorations make the treat look like a little ladybug on a leaf. But does it taste as fun as it looks?

Such a creative little treat!

The marshmallow itself has a nice strawberry flavor, and it’s rather fluffy texture-wise. The chocolate coating doesn’t have much distinct flavor, but it helps hold the marshmallow in and provides a hard surface for the exterior decor.

The little ladybug dots are hearts!

The graham cracker cookie was soft, sweet, and fairly basic, but the ganache is where this treat shines a little bit. It was rich and chocolatey without overpowering the strawberry of the marshmallow. Overall, it’s a really sweet dessert, but that’s to be expected with a marshmallow-based treat.

Inside the mallow

Your little ones and sugar fanatics might really love this, but if you’re not a fan of marshmallow, chocolate, or strawberry, you’ll want to stay away. Honestly, we fell in love simply for the decoration and charm — we even named our ladybug! (Say hello to Rupert, everyone! 👋🐞)

We’ll keep hopping around Disney World to try more new snacks, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest. We’ll keep you in the loop!
