Disney World Really Felt Like SPRING This Week and We Loved It

Does anyone else just really LOVE spring? Well, despite the seasonal allergies and all that.

Flower and Garden Festival (2023)

Spring is one of our favorite seasons at Disney World in particular, because it brings one of our FAVORITE festivals in EPCOT, some fun snacks, and more. This week at Disney World gave us just a glimpse of spring, and it just wasn’t enough. Now, we’re hoping that spring will arrive FASTER. (Thank goodness Punxsutawney Phil says it will be an early spring this year.) Anyway, let’s talk about those things that happened at Disney World this week that made us feel like spring was in full bloom. 💐

We’ll start over in EPCOT.

The FIRST Flower and Garden topiary of the year arrived!

The International Flower and Garden Festival will begin on February 28th, and EPCOT is already preparing, of course!. One of the best parts about the festival is the opportunity to check out all the topiaries.

Flower and Garden Festival 2023

EPCOT’s horticulture team designs and builds these topiaries that look like Disney characters ENTIRELY out of plants. It’s incredible, and we love spotting all the new and returning ones each year. Well, the very first topiary of 2024 has officially arrived to the park.

It’s Tinker Bell!

Hi Tink!

We think she looks absolutely adorable, and we can’t wait to watch the rest of the topiaries show up over time.

Let’s head to Disney Springs!

Blue skies and sunshine showed up in Disney Springs!

All sorts of treats have been popping up this month at Disney World in honor of Black History Month. Celebrate Soulfully is Disney’s Black History Month celebration, and it never fails to bring us snacks that we wish could stick around all year long. One fun snack AND activity you can grab is COFFEE ART in Disney Springs!

Joffrey’s in Disney Springs

Joffrey’s in The Landing at Disney Springs is now offering limited-time coffee art and flavorsas part of Celebrate Soulfully. This month only, you can get Princess Tiana art on top of your coffee! This location is also offering Jazzy Java flavored coffee for a limited time.

IT’S SO CUTE! It reminds us of “Dig a Little Deeper” from Princess and the Frog. Blue skies and sunshine — guaranteed! Get yours before the end of February!

For our last stop, let’s head to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

1900 Park Fare is COMIN’ BACK.

1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will reopen for the FIRST time since before the pandemic on April 10th, 2024. This is exciting news, as the buffet dining experience allowed guests to indulge for breakfast and dinner in an atmosphere that truly feels like it’s straight out of Mary Poppins. As a matter of fact, visitors could partake in a character breakfast here — Supercalifraglistic Breakfast. This experience allowed folks to dine and eat characters like Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Winnie the Pooh.

Now, you can expect to see Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana, who will be in her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! They’ll be there to celebrate the power of a wish, Disney said.

Oh, and guess what else?! STRAWBERRY SOUP IS COMING BACK, TOO! It’s a cold, sweet soup that’s so incredibly refreshing on a hot day in the parks. We are so stoked, y’all. You can make your reservations as early as March 5th.
