Mendoza has worked for Disney for 27 years, working her way up from senior manager in Broadcast Services to director of Multiplatform Programming Strategy & Content Planning for Disney Channels and National Geographic. In her last position, she was responsible for directing brand, content, and platform strategies across nonlinear platforms for kids’ television networks. She also helped strategize the relaunch of National Geographic Kids on YouTube and implemented short-form strategy for Disney Television Animation original anthology shorts.

Mendoza will continue to report to Christian Drobnyk, executive VP of Programming FX, National Geographic, Freeform & Disney Branded Television.

Danyel has exceptional expertise in our kid-targeted content, platforms and franchise business, and is a true team player working collaboratively across the company to develop, launch and grow key multi-platform priorities.
