Nothing lasts forever, so they say!

That applies to the Disney theme parks as things are constantly changing. Disneyland in particular is seeing some pretty significant changes with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and new construction around the Haunted Mansion. Now, we’ve got an update that lies just outside the parks over in Downtown Disney.

Tortilla Jo’s at Downtown Disney has announced it will permanently close on March 31st, 2024. We confirmed the closure with a Disney Cast Member.

Tortilla Jo’s is an upbeat restaurant in Downtown Disney that serves up classic Mexican cuisine. There is also a Taqueria attached for those who want a quick drink or bite, which is set to close on April 13th, 2024.

Downtown Disney is currently under a massive refurbishment with new restaurants and shops coming soon. We’ve seen other spots permanently close to make way for these changes. What new places can you expect? In the restaurant world, Porto’s Bakery and Din Tai Fung are set to open in the shopping and dining district.
