Disney Wishables, the plush based on Disney Parks attractions and more, is set to make a comeback next month featuring Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Disney Wishables Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Plush
The new Disney Wishables plush will feature the EPCOT attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The plush line had seemingly been discontinued in favor of the Munchlings but is set to return on February 5, 2024.
In the past, Wishables have included an open edition plush plus a mystery bag featuring one of 4-5 options. Two plush were previewed on shopDisney: Rocket Racoon and a Starblaster ship, one of which is parked on display outside the Xandar Pavilion (the first non-Earth pavilion at EPCOT).
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Cosmic Rewind opened in May 2022, replacing Ellen’s Energy Adventure. The pavilion is based around a collaborative effort between Xandar (a fictional planet in the Marvel universe) and Earth to bring extraterrestrial culture to EPCOT guests. The queue leads guests through various displays featuring Xandarian ships, clothing, and more.
Of course, something goes wrong as visitors are transported to see the Cosmic Generator in action — which is stolen by Eson, a Celestial.
Reprising their roles are Chris Pratt as Starlord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Racoon, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Glenn Close as Nova Prime. Terry Crews plays Centurion Tal Marik, who serves as a sort of liaison between the EPCOT guests and the Nova Corps.
