“Christmas with Walt Disney” Released on Disney+

“Christmas with Walt Disney” is a heartwarming documentary that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Walt Disney’s love of the Christmas season and holiday traditions. Originally debuting in 2009 at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, the film is now available to stream on Disney+ for the first time this holiday season. Directed by Disney legend Don Hahn, “Christmas with Walt Disney” incorporates vintage films, classic footage of Disneyland, and Disney family home movies to showcase Walt’s joyful spirit during Christmastime. The documentary is just under an hour long and is narrated by Walt’s daughter, Diane Disney Miller.

The Candlelight Processional Returns to EPCOT

The beloved Candlelight Processional will return to EPCOT this holiday season for the first time since 2019. The Candlelight Processional is a retelling of the Christmas story through music, scripture readings, and celebrity narrators. This spectacular event was put on hold for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic but will make its triumphant return for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

The SoCal Resident Ticket Offer Returns to Disneyland 2023

Disneyland Resort has brought back its popular SoCal ticket offer for Southern California residents for 2023. This limited-time offer allows locals to visit the Happiest Place on Earth for as little as $73 per day.

“Parkside Market” a New Korean Inspired Food Hall Coming to Downtown Disney

Construction is underway on Parkside Market, a new $8 million food hall concept that will open in late 2024 in the former AMC theater building in Downtown Disney. The 11,000-square-foot space will house four distinct restaurant concepts curated by Levy Restaurants as well as an outdoor bar on the second level.

“Walt the Dreamer” Statue Debuting In New World Celebration Gardens In EPCOT

On December 5th, Walt Disney World will unveil the “Walt The Dreamer” statue at the newly opened World Celebration Gardens in EPCOT. The bronze statue depicts Walt Disney later in his life as he dreamed up his Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT) and the overall Florida Project. The statue shows Walt sitting on steps in a moment of fulfillment, looking out over the realized beauty of his dream for EPCOT – a park representing optimism and celebrating imagination.

The Ultimate Guide to Zootopia at Shanghai Disney

This December 20th, Walt Disney’s beloved Zootopia comes to life at Shanghai Disneyland with the opening of an immersive new land. Based on the 2016 animated film, Zootopia brings the bustling mammalian metropolis into the real world through innovative attractions, dining, shopping, and character experiences.

The Hatbox Ghost Materializes at Haunted Mansion in Disney World

The legendary Hatbox Ghost has materialized at Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion. This iconic character recently appeared in the Endless Hallway scene of the Magic Kingdom attraction. Disney first announced his arrival last September. Fans eagerly awaited the ghost’s debut for over a year.
