REMINDER: EPCOT Is Changing in a HUGE Way This Week!

It’s hard to believe, but the EPCOT Transformation is almost finally complete!

Spaceship Earth

We’ve gotten to know Connections Eatery and the Creations Shop, rocked out on Cosmic Rewind, and journeyed through water with Moana. But, even more elements of the EPCOT Transformation will soon be open and we’ve got all the details.

Mark your calendars, Disney fans! The Walt the Dreamer statue, Dreamers Point, and World Celebration Gardens are officially set to open to guests in EPCOT on December 5th!

Four gardens will be found in the center of World Celebration, including Dreamers Point (where the statue will sit), and will connect together at a central planter that is based on the EPCOT logo. The area will evolve with the seasons and include lighting elements that will “take on a whole new life” at night.

It’s there!

Not only that, but EPCOT Forever is going to be replaced by a brand-NEW nighttime spectacular: Luminous — The Symphony of Us. The new production celebrates Disney’s 100th anniversary and kicks off next week, on December 5th, 2023. It’ll feature fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects, and plenty of music.

Luminous will feature two original songs, as well as new arrangements of classic Disney songs. The show begins with voices from around the World Showcase welcoming you to the gathering, followed by the original song “Heartbeat Symphony.”
