NEWS: Genie+ Prices INCREASE in Disney World Ahead of Christmas

Of course, Disney World has had their decorations up since early November so we’ve been in the holiday spirit for a while now. We have been able to enjoy delicious treats and the huge gingerbread displays at all of the resorts. While there is so much fun to be found at Disney World this time of year, it’s not all sugar plums and candy canes. There is a massive downside to coming to the parks this time of year. 

If you’ve been to Disney World right around Christmas, then you know what we’re talking about — the CROWDS. It’s no secret that this time of year attracts so many visitors to the parks. One hint as to the crowd level is the price of Genie+.

We saw a large jump in Genie+ pricing for today. For the multiple parks option or Magic Kingdom, you will pay $29 per person today. This is a $4 increase from yesterday. As for the rest of the parks, you can expect to pay $26 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, $21 for EPCOT, and $18 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

If you are heading to Disney World soon for this holiday season, be prepared to see Genie+ prices continue to increase especially as we get closer to the holidays. You’ll also want to pack some patience with you as crowds will increase meaning longer lines not only for rides but for food and restrooms too. Our biggest advice is to have that expectation going in so that you aren’t surprised by the long lines.
