While it’s the most wonderful time of the year at Disney World right now, it’s also usually one of the busiest.
The festive decor, the delicious seasonal treats, and the exclusive parties — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights — can draw huge crowds to the park. However, when looking at the average wait times we noticed something strange…the wait times are trending DOWN!
That’s right — we’re actually bringing you GOOD news about the wait times at Disney World around this time of year. Take a look at the average wait times at each Disney World attraction from the past week.
Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 56 minutes, Jingle Cruise averaged 49 minutes, Haunted Mansion averaged 35 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 34 minutes. Average wait times held Enchanted Tales with Belle at 31 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 30 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 27 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 24 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 23 minutes, followed by Astro Orbiter at 21 minutes.
After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 18 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 14 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini and Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 13 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Enchanted Tiki Room averaged 12 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 11 minutes and Mad Tea Party averaged 10 minutes.
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 8 minutes and other attractions like Hall of Presidents, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Carousel of Progress, and Liberty Square Riverboat all tied at 5-minute average wait times.
The Country Bear Jamboree and Tom Sawyer Island were walk-ons this week.
Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had the highest wait time with a 76-minute average, which has decreased since last week’s 79-minute average. Frozen Ever After has the spot for the second-longest with a 73-minute average. This is actually a slight increase from last week’s average.
Next up is Test Track at 58 minutes, Soarin’ at 37 minutes, Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 17 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 14 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Living with the Land averaged 13 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour averaged 11 minutes.
Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.
Other wait times in the park increased this week including Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 52 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 51 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at 49 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 44 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 42 minutes.
After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 27 minutes, Star Tours — The Adventure Continues averaged 14 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 12 minutes, Walt Disney Presents averaged 11 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes.
Now, let’s head over to Animal Kingdom! After increasing to an 87-minute average last week, Avatar Flight of Passage is down to a 75-minute average.
Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 53 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 34 minutes, Expedition Everest at 22 minutes, DINOSAUR at 16 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 11 minutes.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and TriceraTop Spin averaged 9 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail were walk-ons.
