Disneyland Resort has a ton going on right now with the start of the holiday season, and we’re here to cover all of it!

One of the biggest events that happens each year is the Festival of the Holidays in Disney California Adventure. With so many treats to try, it can feel overwhelming, which is why we’re here to help you decide which treats are worth the cash. If you’re a cold brew coffee fan, one of these new menu items is DEFINITELY worth a try but the other one…not so much.

Over at The Cappuccino Cart, you can grab the Cafe de Olla Cold Brew for $7.25. This is piloncillo-sweetened coffee spiced with star anise, clove, and cinnamon topped with a hot chocolate cream cold foam.

We wanted to like this so badly, but it just wasn’t happening. The cold foam was delicious, but the cloves mixed with the flavor were not working for us. The coffee itself was sweet, but the spices were very, very bitter.

Overall, if you’re into contrasting flavors, then maybe give this one a try. However, if you’re like us and want your coffee to be either sweet OR bitter, then we’d recommend staying away.

We also headed over to Pym Test Kitchen to try the Cold Brew Infusion: Cinnamon & Spice for $6.79. This drink is cinnamon caramel cold brew with cardamom cream foam.

Now, this cold brew doesn’t have a strong coffee taste — it has a sweet and rich caramel taste with hints of cinnamon. The cardamon eventually mixed into the coffee adding a bit of a spicy cinnamon taste but it was never too strong.

Our reporter doesn’t usually like cardamon or strong cinnamon flavors but loved this. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top was a fun topping and the caramel sauce added to the sweet caramel flavor. Overall, if you’re a fan of caramel and strong spice flavors, we say give this one a try!
