Disney World is home to all sorts of great restaurants — all uniquely-themed and each featuring a one-of-a-kind menu.
A lot of those restaurants aren’t in the parks or hotels, and can be found in Disney Springs, which is Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district. A lot of first-timers panic when they visit a Disney World restaurant for the first time, because the theming is so elaborate that it just feels FANCY, and folks don’t know what to wear. That’s one of the best things about Disney World, though. Many of the restaurants have a touch of luxury, yet allow you to show up as you are. Let’s talk about it!
One fan-favorite restaurant in Disney Springs is The Edison, which serves up a wide array of classic American dishes, like burgers, sandwiches, and flatbreads. OH, and we can’t forget about the full-service bar where you can take your pick of themed cocktails.
Speaking of theming, this eatery is designed to resemble a 1920s electric company, and, “exudes an air of romance and Old World sophistication.”
Here, you can expect to spend $15 to $35 per plate at both lunch and dinner, and although the place is very elaborately themed, and will distract you throughout your whole meal with all the details, it’s a casual setting.
No formal dress code is listed on Disney World’s website for this dining location, but lists that it’s a “casual setting,” as we mentioned. This means that yes, you can come in your theme park clothes and Minnie Ears! As long as you don’t show up in a swimsuit or in clothing that features profanity/offensive language, you’ll be good to go!
And there you have it! We’ll continue to keep you updated with any and all Disney news and advice, including what you should wear to Disney World restaurants. Make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing and are always in the loop.
