The 6 Restaurants Actually Worth Your Time in Disney World

There are over 100 dining options in all of Disney World.

Cinderella Castle

Most of them are amazing locations to grab some tasty food. There are many different types and styles of restaurants to choose from. Some are quick service while others are table service locations that aren’t so fast. With so many options to choose from, we narrowed it down to six restaurants that take a bit longer but are SO worth your time.

You can find some of your favorite restaurants in the parks AND in the hotels. Our list today has a few of each. We don’t like limiting our dining experience to just the parks so we wanted to share a couple of outstanding locations that are in two of the neatest hotels on the property and four you can find in the parks.

Citricos

At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, you’ll find a few good places to eat, but we want to bring your attention to one of the two locations on the second floor of the hotel lobby area. Citricos was recently re-themed into a “practically perfect in every way”, Marry Poppins-themed restaurant.

Citricos

You can find some gourmet options at this fine dining location. It’s an open, airy restaurant with fantastic views of the resort and an open kitchen concept to see the food being prepared.

Open Kitchen

The food is fantastic and so is the service. We always enjoy eating at this spot and think you would, too. It will take a bit more time as things are not rushed at Citricos. But to us, it’s worth it.

Satu’li Canteen

Technically Satu’li Canteen is considered a quick service restaurant, but the line and wait can get long here. This restaurant is located in Animal Kingdom at Pandora. It’s themed like a cafeteria for the scientists on Pandora and the food is out of this world, especially the cheeseburger pods!

Satu’li Canteen

This spot is also a nice place to take a break with some cool air conditioning. Since it’s designed like a cafeteria, there is plenty of seating for you to sit down and enjoy your food properly. And enjoy it, you will (we’re pretty certain).

Yak & Yeti

Yak & Yeti is also in Animal Kingdom. There is a quick service version as well as a table service. While both are fantastic, we’re talking about the table service variant (okay, Loki) today.

Yak & Yeti

Yak & Yeti serves up a mean cuisine of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Indian flavors. You can get Firecracker Shrimp or Chicken Tikka Masala and we think you would love either one! This is certainly a restaurant you should take the time to visit.

Garden Grill

We will never stop raving about the Garden Grill in EPCOT. It’s a family-style meal of fresh foods grown right in the Living with the Land ride which you can see the whole restaurant rotates while you eat.

Garden Grill

The portions are large and the food is very flavorful. If you’re a fan of butter and garlic (even if you prefer plant-based options) this restaurant is for you. It’s also a great spot to take a stop in your day to enjoy a meal together and get cooled down from the Florida sun. We’re sure you won’t regret taking the time to try out this spot.

Sanaa

Okay, everything about this Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurant is great, but the Bread Service is fantastic. You get served five breads and nine accompaniments. It’s probably the best bread (and maybe starter in general) in all of Disney World.

Indian-style Bread Service

We’re so serious about this bread that we will drive all the way to Animal Kingdom Lodge for it (which is pretty off the beaten path). Everything here is rich with African and Indian flavors, but if you go and don’t try the bread service we’re not sure we can be friends anymore (just kidding).

The Hollywood Brown Derby

Last on our list of restaurants that are worth your time is The Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios. This spot is known for its Famous Cobb Salad, yes seriously, a Cobb salad.

Hollywood Brown Derby

You can get filet mignon, lamb shank, and other delicious popular foods. But this place makes a mean Cobb salad. We definitely recommend taking the time to stop by for any of their great options.

Sunset Boulevard

So, if you’re looking for a tasty spot to sit back and take a little more time to enjoy your meal, consider one of these six options. They will not be a waste of your time, we’re sure of it!
