This may be an offer too good to pass up, especially if you HATE flying alone!

We’ve seen Southwest Airlines recently change their boarding pass process and expand their flight routes into Orlando International Airport to help you get to MCO faster. Now, Southwest is giving its members a new opportunity, but you’ll need to act fast!

Southwest Airlines is making it easier to earn a Companion Pass with three different options. For context, a Companion Pass allows Southwest Rapid Rewards Members to use their points to designate one person to fly with them, free of airline charges. To qualify for Companion Pass, travelers must fly 100 qualifying one-way flights or earn 135,000 qualifying points in a year.

Now through November 30th, 2023, Southwest is offering the chance to accelerate people’s loyalty program points to allow members to rank up to earning the Companion Pass. According to the Vice President of Marketing at Southwest Airlines, “Whether it’s flying with us on a purchased ticket, or on a reward booking, or simply by using one of our industry-leading Rapid Rewards Credit Cards from Chase, Members now have new opportunities to accelerate their way to the highly coveted Companion Pass before the end of the year so they can start planning their 2024 travel.”

There will be three ways to earn extra points. Travelers can earn double Companion Pass qualifying points by registering for the new promotion, purchasing Southwest qualifying flights, and traveling through November 30th, 2023. Southwest is also offering triple Companion Pass qualifying points per flight to business travelers booking through one of Southwest’s business channels.
