REVIEW: The ONE Disney World Halloween Snack You Should Avoid At All Costs

WELCOME, spooky friends, to Halloween snack season!

Halloween in Magic Kingdom

Disney recently released all the new Halloween snacks we’re able to get in the parks this year (and we’ve already checked out all the ones at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party — these are different!), and we’re on a mission to try them on. Come with us to head over to Disney Springs to try a new sundae!

Over at Marketplace Snacks, you can grab the Halloween Minnie Waffle Sundae for $8.99. This is a bubble waffle filled with chocolate soft-serve, orange sauce, chocolate cream cookies, candy corn, and chocolate sticks. Marketplace Snacks has been home to all sorts of yummy waffle sundaes in the past — like the Little Mermaid Waffle Sundae, Buzz Lightyear Waffle Sundae, and even a Tinker Bell Waffle Sundae. We’ve enjoyed each of these in the past, so we were excited to see how this one measures up.

Minnie Witch Waffle Sundae

From the get-go, we were impressed with the SIZE of this snack! It’s a large portion and comes with a lot of toppings for the price. The waffle looked very fresh and soft and we hadn’t even tried it yet. Now, it’s time to try this bad boy!

Let’s try it!

Spoiler alert: things went awry REAL fast. Our first impression was that this sauce is a giant MESS and the flavor was awful. It has an artificial orange flavor that’s way too strong and almost sour. It overpowered everything else in the sundae. The texture of the chocolate ice cream is creamy and smooth but the flavor is like a mixture of chocolate and medicine. The witch hat decoration tasted like pure wax.

YUCK.

This is one of the WORST snacks we’ve had in a LONG time. Seriously, we try to find some sort of light at the end of the tunnel with snacks that we don’t particularly enjoy, but this snack was honestly disgusting. We wouldn’t recommend this snack to anyone. Seriously, we can’t think of anyone who’d like this unless you just LOOOVE the taste of artificial orange and medicine.

This is the worst thing we’ve tried in a whiiiile.

Well, at least there are more yummy Halloween treats to choose from  — check out more of our reviews below!
