Disney has announced the dates for D23 2024. The event will take place on August 9, 10, and 11 in Anaheim, CA, and, as the official Disney D23 account wrote on X, is “no longer just an expo, but a Disney fan event like no other.”

Though not officially starting until August 9, D23 celebrations will commence at Disneyland on August 8.
Disney is marketing next year’s D23 as “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event,” a departure from the former “D23 Fan Expo” branding. Next year’s event will feature shows and entertainment options, and the Honda Center, an 18,000-plus seat arena located roughly 10 minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Center, will also be utilized. The larger presentations and panels will take place inside the arena.
