The one thing you gotta love about EPCOT is how many unique foods you can find throughout the park.

Not only can you get that infamous Pickle Shake at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, but you can also find some interesting snacks in the World Showcase Pavilions. Take potato chips, for example — we’ve tried some very unusual flavors, including Octopus Chips, Fruit-flavored potato chips, and more. Well, now, we’ve discovered Beer Chips, and we HAD to try them — our curiosity got the best of us.

Yep, you read that right. BEER-flavored chips. We were looking at some of the new chip flavors at House of Good Fortune in EPCOT’s China Pavilion (where we’ve found a LOT of those unique flavors) and came across Peach Beer Lay’s and Craft Beer Lay’s. So we decided we HAD to get the Peach Beer chips because we were CURIOUS.

Okay, so we’ll admit this went about how you probably thought it would. The actual texture of the chip was nice, we’ll say that — it’s the classic wavy Lay’s texture. It turns out, though, that these chips taste like they were soaked in peach schnapps. Not beer. Peach schnapps. So if you love peach schnapps, these might be interesting to try. Although we might recommend just getting peach schnapps instead…these chips were odd.

We have to say that these chips were NOT our jam. But hey, at least we tried them. That’s part of the fun of checking out all the chip flavors in China, right? Next time, we’ll just go back and buy those pizza chips we really DO like from the Japan Pavilion. But if you’re curious, you can grab a bag of Peach Beer Chips for $5.86.
