Why People Love the Disney Visa Card

Annual Passholders, Magic Key Holders, and Disney Vacation Club members all get perks for being part of their respective clubs. But, did you know there are tons of benefits to be had just from having a credit card?

Disney Visa

That’s right, the Disney Chase Visa is a Disney-themed credit card through Chase Bank, and people love it. There are SO many ways that you can benefit from a Disney Visa. Let’s see what all the hype is about!

First things first, there are two types of Disney Chase Visa cards: The Premier Visa and the regular Disney Visa. With the Premier Visa, new cardmembers can earn up to a $300 statement credit after spending $1000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. There is, however, a $49 annual fee.

With the regular Disney Visa, new cardmembers can earn a $150 statement credit after spending $500 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. With this card, there is no annual fee.

Lastly, there are differences in the amount of points you can earn between the two cards. With both versions, cardmembers can earn 1% in Disney Rewards on all purchases made with their card.

The Premier Visa has a few special extras though, like the ability to earn 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars on card purchases made at select locations (like gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and most Disney locations.) Premier Visa cardmembers also have the opportunity to redeem rewards dollars for a statement credit to use toward airline travel!

Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s take a look at what these cards can do for you, and why people love them so much!

Disney Rewards Dollars

Okay, maybe the most important thing to talk about regarding the Disney Chase Visa is the Rewards Dollars. Cardmembers can redeem their Rewards Dollars for a lot of things, like theme park tickets, resort stays, shopping, dining, Disney movie tickets at AMC theaters, and more.

Typically, you can redeem these Rewards Dollars into a Rewards Redemption Card.

The best part? There are NO limits to the number of Disney Rewards Dollars you can earn!

Throughout Disney World, those with a Disney Chase Visa can get discounts on things from dining, merchandise, and recreation. For dining purchases, Joffrey’s Coffee, Paddlefish, and more all offer discounts to Disney Chase Visa cardmembers.
