The Trendiest Store at Disney Springs, Tren-D, Got a Makeover!

Tren-D is a store connected to the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs. The store’s name represents what you can find inside, trendy Disney merchandise. It recently got a huge makeover that was much needed. Many shopping establishments have been modernized and revamped; I am glad that Tren-D finally got the attention it deserved. Anyway, let’s take a look at the new changes!

New Open and Inviting Space

They transformed this once-crowded store into an area that is now open and brighter. What made the biggest difference was that they removed the chandeliers and repainted the walls. Doing that definitely made the room feel bigger. They also added new shelving and display sections making the walking areas more spacious.

I love the new layout and paint job, but I also liked the lighting they added. They have bright lights pointing at displays, making the room feel brighter.

Disney Quote Signs

One of my favorite changes is that they added these white-lighted signs throughout the store that display different Disney quotes. This addition is what makes the space feel more modern but also nostalgic at the same time. I say nostalgic because the quotes bring me back to old Disney – especially the “One Little Spark” sign.

20 Hidden Disney Characters

The most fun change that was made is that there are now 20 Disney Characters hidden throughout the store. I spent 15 minutes just walking around and looking for all the characters, and the cast members kept asking me if I needed hints. I loved how involved they were with this little scavenger hunt.

Make sure you look high, low, and in all the artwork. I won’t share all the hidden characters, but I’ll showcase some of my favorite ones that I found. If you are having trouble finding some of them, ask a cast member for a hint; they are more than happy to help.

Overall Thoughts

I love all the changes they made to the store, and after speaking to a few cast members, I learned that they love it too. All the new additions from the signs, the hidden characters, and the new displays transformed the space to the point it’s hard to remember what it used to look like. I did notice that I felt less claustrophobic here, unlike before.

Before the refurbishment, this store felt overwhelming, at least for me. After spending about 45 minutes inside, I can say that I’ll be visiting more often. Overall, I think the store is absolutely beautiful, and this refurb truly enhanced the space. On your next trip to Disney Springs, will you visit this newly redone store?
