Disney has provided a first look inside the Muppet-themed Brew-Wing Lab at the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey
We already spotted colorful lab-inspired decorations on the windows of the Odyssey Pavilion.
In addition to serving food and beverages, the Brew-Wing Lab will be home to a new show featuring Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker — appearing via video.
Don your lab coats and prepare to experiment with delicious flavors as Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey invites guests on a flavorful adventure, featuring the culinary creations – and madcap mishaps – of Muppet Labs!
That’s right – Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his faithful assistant, Beaker, who appear throughout the venue via videos from Muppet Labs, will welcome you to their taste-testing headquarters, where the inventive duo are busy creating scientific snacks and mind-blowing beverages. You’ll have a chance to sample some of their kooky concoctions like the Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings, or the Pickle Milkshake. Consider it a flavor experiment in the name of science!
Inside, the seating area has been set up to look like a classroom.
The tables and chairs are in rows in front of a screen where Dr. Bunsen and Beaker will hose their taste tests.
The wall murals feature science experiment materials and kitchen equipment.
Dr. Bunsen has drawn images of two of the Brew-Wing’s drinks on graph paper. Check out the full menu.
A faux white board features a chart of Brew-Wing’s various wing options.
A counter on the wall shows that it has been 0 days/minutes without an accident.
Dr. Bunsen and Beaker previously appeared at EPCOT as part of the Muppets Mobile Lab live street show.
2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from July 27 through November 18. Full menus have been released for the Global Marketplaces. Most booths and signs have been installed for the festival.
There will be four new Global Marketplaces: Char & Chop, Wine & Wedge, Bubbles & Brine, and Swirled Showcase. These will open in the fall.
Eat to the Beat Dining Packages include a meal at a participating restaurant and guaranteed seats at an Eat to the Beat concert the same evening.
The participating restaurants are Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Spice Road Table, and Regal Eagle Smokehouse (same-day dining packages only).
Disney provided a first look at merchandise featuring Remy, Mickey & Minnie, and “Encanto” characters.
