Live-action movies have become very popular for Disney!

There are several live-action remakes from older films including Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, and the upcoming Lilo & Stitch and Snow White movies. Now, there’s another live-action film that Disney is working on!
During Disney’s Annual Shareholder meeting on April 3rd, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson announced that Moana would be getting a live-action remake!

Johnson confirmed that Maui will be in the movie but did NOT yet confirm if he will be playing the role. The movie has lots of inspiration from his family and Maui is inspired by his late grandfather.
