Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been undergoing a refurbishment and reimagining over the past few years, with a new Monorail station, updated Disney Vacation Club deluxe studios, “Moana”-themed rooms, and updated main entrance. The Kiki Tikis Splash Play Area was also repainted and refreshed. New rugs were recently placed in the Great Ceremonial House.
Right now, a new Disney Vacation Club wing is under construction where the Spirit of Aloha dinner show used to be. The show never reopened following the March 2020 closure due to COVID-19.
