For the First Time Since Its Launch, Disney Genie Plus Sells Out Sunday

With it being President’s Day weekend, it might come as no surprise that the cost to add Disney Genie+ Service to your day was at a much higher price than usual on Sunday due to the holiday; $29 (plus tax) per person, to be exact.

On most days, the cost to add the service is $15 per person, per day, and when you’ve got a family of four, that can add up quickly. But when your visit takes place during any holiday, that price can just about double, like we’re seeing this weekend. As with theme park tickets, the cost of Disney Genie+ varies depending on the date you are using it.

When you purchase this add-on, you are given access to Lightning Lanes, formerly FastPass and FastPass+, which can save you time from waiting in standby lines for attractions. I always say time is money during a Disney vacation, although exactly how much time your money buys these days can vary a great deal depending on when you visit.

With Sunday being the first time Disney Genie+ has sold out for the day at Walt Disney World, do you think prices could possibly increase for holidays later this year?
