More Disney 100 Years of Wonder merchandise has arrived at Walt Disney World, including Mickey and Minnie figures and baby onesies.
This figure depicts Minnie in her silver and purple 100 Years of Wonder outfit.
She has a silver bow and blue eyeshadow.
A purple sash is around her silver dress.
The cotton candy tub features Mickey and Minnie in their 100th anniversary outfits, with Pluto between them wearing a “100” collar.
The rest of the tub is patterned with the silhouettes of Mickey and friends and the Disney 100 logo.
This dark gray onesie features Mickey on the front against an art deco background.
The Disney 100 logo is on a purple diamond at the bottom.

ABC News has reported the death of correspondent Barbara Walters at age 93. Walters was the first female news anchor with an illustrious career that began in 1976.
By 1979, she was a co-host of “20/20,” and in 1997, she launched “The View.” She won 12 Emmy Awards before retiring as a co-host in 2014.
“I do not want to appear on another program or climb another mountain,” she said, according to ABC. “I want instead to sit on a sunny field and admire the very gifted women — and OK, some men too — who will be taking my place.”
ABC News released an ode to her career, noting that “At ABC, her interviews were wide-ranging and her access to public figures, unparalleled; Walters crossed the Bay of Pigs with Fidel Castro and conducted the first joint interview with Sadat and Israel’s Prime Minister Menachem Begin. She also developed a reputation for asking tough questions.
“I asked Vladimir Putin if he ever ordered anyone to be killed,” she once recalled. “For the record, he said ‘no.’”
Walters and Disney CEO Bob Iger are pictured above at the dedication of “The Barbara Walters Building” in May 2014. During the ceremony, Walters accepted the honor, saying, “People ask me very often, ‘what is your legacy?’ and it’s not the interviews with presidents, or heads of state, nor celebrities. If I have a legacy, and I’ve said this before, and I mean it so sincerely, I hope that I played a small role in paving the way for so many of you fabulous women.”

The end of the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebrations is almost here, and to mark the occasion, Disney is releasing a “Grand Finale” merchandise collection. Tonight at EPCOT, we found the Grand Finale Spirit Jersey at World Traveler.
The jersey is tie dye style, in shades of blue, purple, and white.
The Walt Disney World 50 logo is below Cinderella Castle, both in glittery, golden, three-dimensional designs.
The 50th anniversary logo is on the tagless label inside the jersey.
Like the other new Spirit Jerseys, there is a blue Disney tag next to the regular label.
On the back, “Walt Disney World” is in puffy golden letters across the shoulders.
The lettering, like the emblem on the front, is very glittery.
Mickey and Minnie are in their 50th anniversary outfits, embracing against a background of fireworks and stars.
The gold parts of their outfits are glittery, as are the fireworks.
We recently found an “I Was Part of the Magic” pin, and more of the Grand Finale merchandise has been teased.

As previously reported, the “feature” (or main) pools will be closing for refurbishment at three Walt Disney World Resorts in January 2023.
The Feature Pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed for refurbishment from January 9, 2023, through early April 2023. This will include the whirlpool spas.
The water play area and Bay Lake Pool will remain open.
Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be unavailable beginning January 9 through April 2023.
The water play area and Meadow Snack Bar, along with the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool and its nearby whirlpool spa, will remain open
From early January 2023 through late-March 2023, High Rock Spring Pool and On the Rocks Pool Bar will be closed while the pool undergoes refurbishment. An exact date has yet to be announced.
The Grandstand Pool, The Paddock Pool, and Congress Park Pool will remain open.
You may see and hear construction noise while this refurbishment is underway, but it should not be audible from guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 a.m.
Additionally, the Lava Pool Slide at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be closing on January 3 through early February. The pool itself will remain open.
Pool refurbishments have already been announced for January 2024 as well.

New Year’s Eve
We’re in Disney World for the start of the New Year’s Eve celebrations, and we’re checking out all the offerings — from new merchandise to snacks to special celebrations. One thing that Disney World does annually is a countdown to the new year, and if you can’t be in the park with us, you can watch along from home!
To kick off 2023, you can watch the Disney Fantasy in the Sky fireworks show, which takes place four times over the course of December 30th and December 31st.

You can catch the shows each night at 6:30PM and 11:50PM. And along with the fireworks, each of the shows has a New Year’s COUNTDOWN! We saw the first of them tonight, December 30th!
