We’re talking about dozens of sweets for the holiday season, including some that are exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We’ve been trying out all the goodies, and now we’re diving into our next one — a special holiday churro!
From November 8th through December 31st, you can find the Christmas Cookie Churro at various carts around Magic Kingdom. This churro is available during the daytime AND the Christmas party!
It’s a churro served with marshmallow cream, cookie crumbles, and Christmas sprinkles, and we spotted it at a popcorn cart in the Magic Kingdom hub for $7.25. It definitely looks festive! But we’re not going to lie, we were very disappointed with the taste. This has sadly become kinda of a trend when it comes to speciality churros in Disney World. We have however seen them be a bit more successful over at Disneyland Resort.
This churro was very chewy, but not in a good way. The churro itself was good, but the marshmallow drizzle overpowered the cinnamon sugar and was sickeningly sweet. The toppings were also a little stale, although the sprinkles were very crunchy. We think kids may enjoy this treat if they like really sweet treats, but otherwise, you may want to choose another holiday offering in the parks.
We can’t wait to share our thoughts on all the other snacks and drinks, so keep following along for the holly jolly excitement!
WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered!
We have reviewed nearly EVERY snack available at Disney World, and we’ve written a series of DFB Guides about them! Check out our DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining + Snacks Bundle for all the details you need to plan your snackin’ and spending.
