Sweet, Sour, and Strange — Come Try 3 NEW Drinks With Us at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Disney’s BoardWalk is going through a HUGE transformation.

Disney’s BoardWalk

Not only did the BoardWalk Deli just open up, but next year we can also expect a brand new table service restaurant, and the hotel’s lobby and guest rooms are getting a makeover as well. Belle Vue Lounge recently got a new look, and they’ve updated their menu to match! Come with us to try some of the NEW drinks available at Belle Vue Lounge!

Belle Vue Lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a great place to relax and have a drink after a long day in the parks. This lounge recently got a makeover, so we stopped on over to take a look — and while we were there, we decided to try out some of the NEW drinks on the menu!

A new look!

A TON of Disney World hotels just received a bit of a menu revamp, so we’re excited to be checking out some of the new drinks here at the BoardWalk Inn. We started out with the featured cocktail — an Orange Blossom Manhattan. This is made with Knob Creek Disney Single Barrel Bourbon, Cointreau Noir, orange blossom honey, and orange blossom bitters for $16.50.

Orange Blossom Manhattan

Before we even took a sip of this cocktail, we were hit with the most incredible orange blossom and honey smell — which only furthered our excitement about actually drinking it. It was pretty heavy on the bourbon, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a drink that doesn’t taste too strong.

The orange and bourbon worked together nicely, but the sweetness added by the honey was a bit jarring at first. As we continued to drink the Orange Blossom Manhattan though, the flavors mellowed out and it grew on us. This drink would be great for bourbon lovers or those looking for a twist on a classic Manhattan — plus, we love the honeycomb and orange peel garnish.

We decided to take a break from booze for our next drink and try the non-alcoholic Agave Garden — Lyer’s Agave Reserva Spirit (non-alcoholic), cold-pressed lime juice, passionfruit papaya green tea, and cucumber for $11.

For a non-alcoholic drink, this one packed quite the punch! The cold-pressed lime juice was much more concentrated than the fresh-squeezed kind, and it made us pucker at first. It’s extremely refreshing, though, and the cucumber adds a fresh flavor that helps cut down on the tartness of the rest of the drink. It reminded us of a tangy Sprite with cucumber and would be perfect for a mid-day refreshing bev.

And finally, we decided to end with a cocktail more on the dessert side of things — the Cold Brew Martini. This is SelvaRey Chocolate Run, Tia Maria Liqueur, and Joffrey’s Cold Brew for $15.50.

Cold Brew Martini

This baby was gooooooooood. A little sweet for a martini, but considering it’s more of a dessert than anything else — we can get behind that. Both the chocolate and coffee flavors were present, but neither one overpowered the other. It was rich and velvety and was so smooth going down. It wasn’t too boozy either — we mostly tasted the chocolate and coffee.

The Cold Brew Martini might be your thing if you’re looking for a sweet drink to end the night, or are just a big fan of coffee cocktails.

Head on over to Belle Vue Lounge to check these (and more) new cocktails out. While you’re there, take a stroll on the BoardWalk and maybe grab a bite to eat at the new BoardWalk Deli or the BoardWalk Pizza Window.
