Parking Tram Collision Occurs at Disneyland Resort

While incidents happen rarely at Disneyland Resort, one incident was recently reported involving the collision of two trams. Thankfully no guests were injured, but it left many visitors frightened from the experience. We were provided photos by @RealTravelJack on Twitter, who shared the damage with us last night.

It appears that two trams grazed each-other near the back of the parking tram. There was minor damage to the tram, and we’re grateful that it seems the situation resolved without harm to guests.

The metal plates protecting the sides of the tram were ripped off of the first two rows on the right half of the back tram car.

The side plates left damage on the underlying structure of the tram rows, though it appears to be minor.

Cast members were on the scene to assess damage, clear the area, and help guests affected by this incident.

A reply to the original report confirms that no guests were injured. While this incident is unfortunate, we’re glad this was as minor as it was, and that nobody was hurt onboard. We expect the damage will be repaired quickly and the damaged trams will return to operation soon. As there are multiple trams, we do not expect a disruption of service due to the incident.
