House of Blues, the Best Concert Experience at Disney World

We have talked endlessly about how great the food and service are at House of Blues in Disney Springs. It’s one of my favorite Disney brunch locations. Great breakfast and even better mimosas. So yes, House of Blues is excellent for food, but that’s not the only thing they do great. House of Blues is a fantastic concert venue.

The venue is just to the right of the restaurant. It’s a very intimate and small venue, which you don’t get at huge stadiums or arenas. Personally, House of Blues is my favorite concert venue in Orlando. I’ve been to three concerts at this venue, and each experience has been excellent. Let me share my reasons with all of you.

Safety

Safety is one of my biggest concerns when going out, but an even more significant concern when I go to concerts. When entering Disney Springs, you go through security, but they do additional screenings at the venue. They also have a size limit on bags that can be brought into the venue, which is typical for most concerts. I always feel safer on Disney property, so it’s a big plus for me.

Ticket Prices

Ticket prices at this venue tend to be less expensive than the tickets at arenas or stadiums. Smaller artists are more likely to come to the venue but also artists that prefer that intimate setting with their fans. They also have great ticket prices for other events that are held there, like dance parties. I went to a Taylor Swift dance party not too long ago, and it was $25. The most recent concert I attended was also $25 for general admission.

Venue Type

The venue is small, so be prepared to be in a crowded, tight space if you want to be close to the artist. I prefer hanging out on the side or on the venue’s second floor, where I can enjoy the music. They also have TVs all over the place if you’d like to sit back and enjoy the concert that way. House of blues also has a section with tables and chairs, but those seats come at a higher cost, but you get a great view of the stage. I really enjoy that there are several places in the venue where I can see the show. I also appreciate that there are spots I can escape to if I need to catch my breath or just simply need a break from the crowd.

Overall, this concert venue in Disney Springs is one of my favorite places to experience live music. Especially living near Disney, it’s a lot easier for me to drive to Disney Springs than to drive into Downtown Orlando to the Amway Center. As much as I love arena and stadium tours because artists can create a massive set with props and have a second stage, I also love the closeness a small venue provides. Definitely check out the list of artists coming to House of Blues, and maybe while visiting Walt Disney World, you can enjoy a concert after experiencing Disney Springs.
