$30 Cocktails and Drinks Served in BLOOD BAGS — Come With Us to The Edison in Disney Springs

Disney World is expensive, but it’s not usually “$30 for a single drink” expensive. 😳

The Edison

Even with all the price increases we’ve seen recently, you can generally get a cocktail for under $20. Recently, we stopped by one Disney World restaurant to try out some new drinks, and although most of them were pretty reasonably priced (at least by Disney standards), there was one stand-out that was both incredibly delicious and incredibly bad for our wallets. But it did come with a special perk! So come with us to find out if this High Roller cocktail is worth the cash or if you should stick to the other new drinks instead.

Over in Disney Springs (Disney World’s center for shopping and dining), you can find The Edison. This unique lounge is known for its steampunk atmosphere and unique entertainment, but you can also find some fun eats and drinks on the menu.

The Edison

For a limited time, The Edison is featuring 4 new Halloween cocktails along with a new drink to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can try out these drinks until October 31st.

The Stage

We’ll start out with the priciest new option. The Pumpkin Spice Forever is a High Roller Cocktail for $30. The Edison has a special menu of High Roller Cocktails, which are drinks made with top-shelf ingredients that come with a pretty cool perk. If you order one of these drinks, you’ll get a gold “High Roller” coin from the bartender.

High Roller Coin

Once you get 4 gold coins (from purchasing 4 of these cocktails), you can turn them in to get a 5th High Roller drink for FREE! So whether you get all the coins in one trip or collect them over a longer period of time, you can save them up to get another drink on the house. This is one of the most well-kept secrets in Disney Springs.

The other side of the coin

But free drink or no free drink, is any cocktail actually worth $30? Actually, you’d be surprised. The Pumpkin Spice Forever is made with Stoli Elit vodka, Borgatti espresso liqueur, Ferretti biscotti liqueur, pumpkin spiced puree, black walnut bitters, and fee foam. We thought this drink was incredible — in fact, it was by far our favorite drink of the night.

Pumpkin Spice Forever

We felt very fancy sipping on this drink — so much so that we almost felt underdressed because this cocktail deserved nicer attire. It’s clearly a high-end drink, with very well-balanced flavors and strong fall vibes. The spices and pumpkin flavor worked together perfectly, and we think anyone who likes pumpkin spice will enjoy this. It was very delicious, to say the least.

So good!

It’s by far the most expensive pumpkin spice drink we’ve ever had, but we’ve got to admit that — for those who love fall flavors — this one is worth the splurge.

Our favorite of the night

Next, we tried the Eye Drop, which is another Halloween drink. It’s made with absolut citron, Cointreau, acidic simple syrup, and filthy cherry juice. This is a normal cocktail (not a High Roller), so it’s $17.

The Eye Drop

This drink perfectly captures spooky Halloween vibes, with a gummy eyeball floating inside. It’s pretty tart, but not too sour. Citrus was the main flavor, although it wasn’t specifically a lemon-y flavor. The drink is made with citric acid simple syrup instead of lemon juice so that you can still see the eyeball in it, which explains the vague citrus flavor.

Pretty tart!

This is a great option for someone who wants a themed drink for spooky season but isn’t interested in the more basic pumpkin flavors.

Spooky!

Our next drink won the “most impressive presentation” category — it’s the Blood Donor, made with blanco tequila, lime juice, and Salerno blood orange liqueur for $21.

Blood Donor Bag

This isn’t just a drink — it’s a whole experience. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a real-life vampire, this is absolutely the best choice for you. The drink comes in a blood bag, so you have to squeeze it out into your glass before tasting it. This one is definitely not for people who get squeamish about their food — even though it’s a delicious drink (no real blood involved, we promise), the whole presentation could be a little jarring.

Blood Donor

It’s a very light drink that tastes a little like fruit punch. The alcohol flavor isn’t strong in this one, even if the spooky vibes are unmatched.

Tasty!

The last Halloween cocktail is the Red Rum. It’s made with Cruzan rum, orgeat, fresh lemon juice, honey, and house-batched cinnamon cordial for $17.

Red Rum

This was another of our favorites! It was pretty strong (much more so than the Blood Donor), and the cinnamon paired very nicely with the fruity, tart flavors, balancing out the sour with some spice.

Another winner

Our final drink of the night was the Pink Ribbon, which is here to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With each purchase of the drink, one dollar is donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. You can get this one with or without alcohol, but the version with alcohol is made with Herradura silver tequila, house-batched raspberry mint cordial, fresh watermelon, and lime juices and costs $18. (The mocktail version comes without the tequila and costs $10.)

Pink Ribbon

This drink was very light and simple. The mint and lime went well with the sweet raspberry flavors, which made this a very Floriday-style drink. Since it’s still pretty hot in Orlando, we enjoyed the refreshing flavors!

Light and refreshing

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at The Edison. The drinks all had fun and different themes, and we loved the variety in the Halloween cocktails. If you’re feeling very fancy, you can’t go wrong with that High Roller Pumpkin Spice cocktail — it was seriously one of the best drinks we’ve had in Disney World. But if you’re looking for more budget-friendly but still Halloween-themed drinks, we think the Blood Donor and Red Rum are very tasty as well!
