Have you been following along with all the D23 Expo announcements? If you have, you’ll know that Disneyland is getting a LOT of updates!
Splash Mountain is becoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (in both Disneyland and Disney World), and we got a first look at the model for the new attraction. Disneyland is also getting a Tiana’s Palace restaurant along with a Princess and the Frog-themed gift shop. There’s an expansion coming to Avenger’s Campus as well! But now there’s been ANOTHER announcement about something new coming to Disneyland!
Disney just announced that the Magic Happens Parade is returning to Disneyland Resort is celebration of 100 Years of Disney! On top of this, TWO new nighttime spectaculars have been announced. Disney has also shared new decor, food, and character costumes to celebrate the BIG 100 year occasion!
Now back to the parade details! Magic Happens will return next year, but we do not have an exact timeline right now. What we do know is that we cannot wait to see the beautiful costumes and decor once again. Remember that both The Main Street Electrical Parade and the Disneyland Forever fireworks ended their runs in Disneyland on September 1st.
We’re keeping track of all the latest updates from the D23 Expo this year, so stay tuned to DFB to catch all the news!
Are you excited to see this parade return? Let us know in the comments.
