How Following A Teddy Bear On Instagram Could Help Kids Battling Cancer Go to Disney World

Disney is no stranger to working with charities.

Magic Kingdom

The company has long been a supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and even has a non-profit resort called Give Kids The World Village, that provides cost-free Disney World vacations for kids battling critical illnesses, as well as their families. With September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a teddy bear is going on a trip with a few of these kids to spread the word about children battling cancer.

Meet Adventure Ted. Adventure Ted is a teddy bear who will be traveling with two children battling cancer on an all-inclusive VIP trip to Disney World, Universal, and Sea World with lodging at the Give Kids The World Village. Starting on September 8th, you can follow their adventures on Instagram at @AdventureTed.official and @childhoodcancersociety.

The two children, Luna and Leo, started their adventure by having ice cream at one of our favorite places, Salt & Straw in Disney Springs! That’s when they were told about their upcoming adventure! If you want another reason to follow along: for every 20,000 followers on the Adventure Ted Instagram account, another VIP trip for a child will be unlocked!

So head on over to Instagram now and start following along! Just hitting that “follow” button could send another child battling cancer on a theme park trip.

Looking for even more ways to help Give Kids the World Village? You can fundraise, donate, and volunteer to help, as well as make special purchases with proceeds going to the charity. You can find more information on the Give Kids The World Village website.
