It’s Halloween in Disneyland and we’re bringing you ALL of the details from Oogie Boogie Bash!

Treat Trail Time!

We’ve been taking you along with us (virtually) to the FIRST party of the spooky season, to get a look at ALL of the special treats, entertainment, and more. We’ve already shared a look at the party merchandise and some INCREDIBLE guest costumes, but now it’s time to check out one of the best parts of the party — the treat trails!

Throughout the park, there are immersive treat trails where you can stop to get some Halloween candy from Cast Members.

You can place your candy in the souvenir bag provided.

While the candy is fun, the real draw of these treat trails is the characters you can see and talk to there — especially when those are NEW or RARE characters.

Generally, at the treat trails, you’ll find Disney villains lurking about, chatting with guests from a stage, and maybe even doing a performance or two!

There are markers around the park that indicate where to get treats and the locations are also marked on the party map with a little cauldron.

Just be aware that the really popular treat trails can develop some LOOOOOONG lines, so be prepared to wait a bit for those.

Now, let’s go through ALL of the treat trails you can experience at Oogie Boogie Bash.

During one treat trail, we spotted ERNESTO DE LA CRUZ — YES, THE Ernesto De La Cruz from Coco! Ummmm, yeah, can you say “EPIC?!”

Ernesto appeared in skeleton form and was singing and making all kinds of comments.

 

We seriously hope Ernesto makes more appearances in the parks in the future.

We also got the chance to see Sid from Toy Story. 

It’s Sid!

He had created the Sid Show Circus and was displaying some of his…ummm…creations for everyone to see.

What Have You Been Up To Sid?!

We stopped by another treat trail where we found Dr. Facilier. He was wondering what sound a spider makes when stepped on. We said maybe he would know and he said there was only one way to find out. Hide your pet spiders, y’all. 😯

You Are So Mischievous!

Elsewhere, we found the mistress of evil herself, Maleficent, at a Treat Trail with surrounded by green lights (mimicking her flames) and spinning wheels (of course).

One of the NEW characters that joined Oogie Boogie Bash is Madame Mim from The Sword in the Stone.

We heard her talking to some guests about how they should come dressed as her next time instead of Merlin. So there’s your next costume idea! 😂

 

In Avengers Campus, we found Agatha Harkness from WandaVision! She was introducing herself to everyone and sharing some top tips about spells.

When the “Agatha All Along” song came on, she was thrilled and even tried to get the crowd to sing along in some parts. Warm up those pipes so you can sing along when the time comes!

NEW to the party this year is Mother Gothel from Tangled!

She was surrounded by some flowers somewhat similar to the ones in the movie (so it looks like her youthful appearance will be sticking around for a while) and reminding everyone that mother knows best!

 

If you’re all about SPOTS, make your way to the treat trail featuring Cruella!

 

This is not your classic Cruella though, it’s actually the one from the newer live-action Cruella film you can now watch on Disney+. If you’re a huge fan of that movie, this is a treat trail you won’t want to miss.

Finally, you’ll also find a treat trail with the main man himself — Oogie Boogie!

He’s VERY animated and won’t hesitate to call your outfit REVOLTING, so be warned!

You may also be able to pick up a little souvenir button when you stop by the Oogie Boogie treat trail (while supplies last), so be on the lookout for that.
