You Could Be RICH If You Have These Disney Souvenirs

If you’re anything like us, you probably have some Disney merchandise in your home, right?

Vault Collection

It could be a few pairs of Minnie ears or a whole room filled with collectibles, either way, it’s safe to say you’re a fan like we are. And, with Disney as a company having been around for almost 100 years, there is a LOT of merch out there, people! Now, it’s time to dust off those vintage items in your attic or possibly take things out of storage, because we’ve scoured eBay, and we’re here to tell you about some VERY valuable Disney merchandise that you might have at home!

VHS Tapes

Remember VHS tapes? If you’re over the age of about 20, we’re guessing you at least have a vague memory of watching movies on VHS tapes rather than DVDs or through streaming services. In fact, you might even have a whole collection of old tapes at home! Well, it’s time to look through them, because some of them could be worth a lot of money.

Remember these?

We’ve seen Disney VHS tapes go for a LOT of money on eBay. There was a Cinderella VHS from 1988 that sold for $3,000, and a Cars VHS that sold for $1500! That’s some serious cash for one tape.

Another one we saw was a VHS tape of The Sword in the Stone that sold for $500.

So, you might want to check out which editions you have of certain Disney movies, because they could rake in a bunch of cash if you wanted to sell them.

Barbies

Barbies have been around for over 60 years, so of course Disney has collaborated to make some of your favorite characters! These usually sell for more if they’re still in their original packaging and have never been opened, but even if they have, you can still get a lot of money for certain dolls depending on which you have. We saw the duo of Jack Sparrow and Angelica Barbies sell for $240.50!

There are also lesser-known barbies, like this Disney Barbie Fairytopia doll. This one was the toy of the year in 2005, so it recently sold on eBay for $186.50.

If you were more of a Disney Channel fan, you could sell some old dolls like this Alex Russo one from Wizards of Waverly Place! It sold for $199.95.

The more rare the doll, the more money you could get for it!

Snow Globes

A bunch of people collect snow globes, and Disney has made a lot of different versions over the years. Some of them are super uncommon like limited editions or vintage pieces that no one has seen around in decades, which increases their value. The Little Mermaid “Kiss the Girl” snow globe recently sold for about $1225!

Maybe you want to sell it to make some extra cash, or put it on display in a safe place to make sure it stays in a good condition. We’re sure that these items will only increase in value over time!

If you want some vintage Disney merchandise without paying these big price tags, you can check out things like the Disney Vault Collection that was released for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. It features a lot of vintage designs on things like T-shirts, shoes, hats, and more.
